Indian River County area was originally in Brevard until 1905 then St. Lucie County until Therefore, many of the early pioneer families were buried in present day Indian River County that once were St. Lucie or Brevard County. Some of the cemeteries could only be verified of their existence by obituaries. Consequently, there are many obituaries listed. Intention is to help identify cemeteries through sources and primary documents. This is to be used as a guide to the location and establishment of the cemetery.
