1 August 2008 URGENT CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION CHANGE TO TRIGGER SPRAY 500ML AND 1L PRODUCTS Dear Customer, We have recently received the news that the supplier of our current trigger spray head has gone into administration. A suitable purchaser has not been found and the company has ceased to trade. Our main priority on receipt of this announcement was to secure as much stock as possible from the supplier in order to maintain supply of our trigger spray products. However these stock levels will only allow us to provide the current trigger head for the next 4 6 weeks. Further stocks of the old style trigger spray head have also been acquired which will give supply for a further 4 6 weeks. To ensure supply after this point we have purchased triggers from another well known trigger manufacturer. The 4 L trigger spray products will continue with the current trigger for 6 8 months. Customers will be informed of the trigger that will be used on these products at a later date. 2 In order to minimise the impact of this change we will be implementing the following measures with immediate effect: All non-sterile alcohol products and biocide trigger spray products will revert back to the old style trigger head, an image of which can be seen below: For the immediate future all sterile alcohol products will remain unchanged retaining the existing trigger head as can be seen in the image below:

3 Both the above trigger heads are from our existing manufacturer and will become obsolete. Once stock of both these trigger heads is exhausted on their assigned products, they will be replaced with a new trigger head as can be seen in the image below. This trigger head is ergonomically designed and offers a fixed spray or jet option to provide the variability that you will have been used to with our previous trigger sprays. The new trigger heads are currently undergoing validation work with the SteriShield Delivery System to ensure that any product provided by Shield Medicare a division of Ecolab remains fully validated. Following completion of this validation the new trigger heads will be incorporated into our products. We continue to explore all possible options to provide the best solution to this problem for our customers and will continue to keep you updated.
