The patient sample is applied to the sample pad and migrates along the test strip by capillary action. The gold conjugated antibodies are transported along the test strip with the patient sample. In case of a negative sample, the antibodies and the sample reach the test region where the target substance (e.g THC) is immobilised on the test strip. These drugs are recognised and bound by the gold-conjugated antibodies. In this way, gold particles accumulate on the T-line, causing a red line to become visible in the case of a negative result. If drugs are present in the sample, they are bound by the gold-conjugated antibodies already in the conjugate pad. If the drug concentration in the patient sample is higher than the cut-off of the test strip, all binding sites are occupied and drugs cannot be bound on the T-line. This means, that in the case of a positive sample above the cut-off, no T-line will appear. In any case, gold-conjugates will reach the control region, where they will be bound by antibodies on the membrane. The gold particles will always accumulate on the C-line causing the creation of a red control line. Dr. rer. nat. Tests determine the presence of substances, offering quick and reliable results within 5-8 minutes. Our tests boast up to 99% compliance with the Gold standard GC-MS. To meet your needs, we offer our urine rapid tests in two formats. The nal von minden Drug-Screen Dip tests are dipped directly into the urine sample and, with fast and accurate results, are a particularly efficient screening process. The nal von minden Drug-Screen cassette tests differ in that the sample is dropped onto the test via a supplied pipette, making it a particularly hygienic option. We promptly send you a sample collection kit containing all the information and material needed for sending the sample to the laboratory. 3. After collecting the sample in accordance with the instructions included in the kit, seal it in the pre-addressed envelope provided and sent to the laboratory. 4. Your results are available within approximately 14 days. How long does the process take? The entire laboratory process takes approximately 10 working days. For an Express Analysis, this reduces to 5 working days. Where confirmatory analysis must be carried out, this process can be slightly longer. Who receives the report? The prepared report is solely shipped to the declared address. Laboratory Hair Analysis Hair is the best indicator of consumption or abstinence from alcohol, drugs and medication over a longer period of time using just one analysis. Detection time in hair The consumption of drugs and medication can be detected through hair analysis for a much longer period than is the case with blood or urine. The consumed substances and their by-products are embedded in hair roots and prevail for a significant time as part of the hair matrix. The precise time frame is dependent on hair length.
