2 DESIGN PRINCIPLES A platform that helps users to save leftover ingredients in fridge; our interactive system is a recipe-focused app for IOS system that offering planned out shopping list that fit users daily needs. Save leftover food and turn it into a professional dish. Convenient and easy to find the desire recipe and follow along with the interactions. Share the experience with others and leave reviews and feedbacks.

4 I wanna eat healthy, but I have to know how to cook first BIO Charlie is 45-year-old white collar who works at the Bank of Montreal in Richmond. He lives in a small condo by himself. Unfortunately, he has diabetes because he eats high-sugar food everyday when he was young. The doctor tells Charlie to control his diet and can only eat limit amount of sugar per day. Therefore, Charlie starts to cook his own meal by following some food receipt apps, however, he often feels tired after his working hours that he still need to go to the supermarket to buy ingredients for his dinner, moreover, Charlie is having a hard time to distinguish between different vegetables because he feels like they all look the same. He is desperately seeking ways to solve his problem that he even asks his mom to buy groceries for him. 5 MENTAL STATUS Charlie Kim Using the vegetables he just bought to match with the receipts using the same ingredient Realizes he had added dishes in his wish list He is satisfied with the dish and snak he made Charlie wants to prepare dinner and healthy snacks for himself He downloads our app, and realizes there are tons of receipts Accidentally deletes a receipt from his cart The food delivered and still in fresh condition write the review for the receip He can t distinguish between different vegetables Goes to the supermarket Realizes there are reviews for each receipts, and the apps help you deliver the ingredients to your place Follow the cooking steps from the app He randomly chooses some vegies and go home He has no idea how to make snacks and dinner The delivery was late for 30 minutes due to the heavy traffic

9 TESTING METHODS IDEO METHOD Experience the wireframe prototype Identify user s role (Beginner, intermediate, expert) Giving specific scenario to the users Observing user s behaviour and experience s USER TEST PROCESS Each user took minutes to go through the IDEO method testing.
10 TESTING PROCESS STEP 1: Briefly described the application concept and goal. STEP 2: Giving them a specific scenario and role to know better about the app and lead them to the user goal. STEP 3: Users were given a wireframe prototype to navigate through with their own space and experiences. STEP 4: Observed user s behaviours and interaction whether they understood the user flow and where to interact with the touchpoints. STEP 5: Take down the notes while observing their reactions. STEP 6: After they finished the experience, we explained the entire function and features of the app by showing them the whole user flow of the app. STEP 7: Showed them the mockup of our app with all the images to show the detail. STEP 8: Asking questions about the improvement, suggestion and success. The results showed that some features and content should improve in terms of the interaction and understandings. However, the overall concept is good.
11 IDENTIFIED ISSUES ISSUE 1 need to add name, expired dates, and unit amount in fridge. ISSUE 2 need to add filter ISSUE 3 delete the ingredients after they ve cooked. ISSUE 4 cart icon should be changed ISSUE 5 change the name from shopping list to mylist for checking the to buy food or purchased food. ISSUE 6 add food images in mylist to be consistent with the recipe page. ISSUE 7 The position of shopping view and recipe view should swap location. ISSUE 8 add time & clargory range in search bar in the recipe, and show recipes based on user s ingredients. ISSUE 9 remove the fixed window of add to cart button and move it to replace managed ingredients. ISSUE 10 remove manage ingredient function and put it into profile setting. ISSUE 11 remove short tutorial and replace it with the short video. ISSUE 12 Decrease the interaction of tabing action, but add contents scroll or expand. ISSUE 13 change to a bigger fonts. ISSUE 14 add filters or categories for searching and discovery.
