1 HOLIDAY HOMEWORK CLASS IV ENGLISH ROLL NUMBER: 1-20 Q.1. Make a menu card. Healthy food is important for a healthy body and mind. Create a menu card for a restaurant publicizing a variety of salads and other healthy food dishes. Use only half A4 size coloured sheet folded appropriately to design your menu card. The menu should have a few healthy starters, juices, salads, main course and desserts. On the cover of your menu write the name of your restaurant, address and phone number. ROLL NUMBER: Q.1. Design an advertisement for appealing to people to eat healthy food and to stop eating junk food. Nutrition during childhood and adolescence is essential for growth and development, health and wellbeing. Further, eating behaviours established during childhood track into adulthood and contribute to long-term health and chronic disease risk. Children and adolescents are eating more food away from home, drinking more soft drinks, and snacking more frequently. The growing epidemic of childhood overweight and obesity is a major public health concern. While multiple factors influence eating behaviours and food choices of youth, one strong force is food advertising. Children and adolescents are now the target of intense and specialized food marketing and advertising efforts. Tips for creating the advertisement: a) Keep it simple- Just create one image and a slogan/caption with an easy to understand message. Keep it simple both in terms of message, content and design. b) Include a call to action - A call to action urges or invites the people to take action. Make it bold and put it in the forefront. c) Use an A3 size cartridge sheet or handmade paper to present your advertisement. Q.2. Lesson-1: A True Hero (ROLL NUMBER: 1-40) Make a bookmark.
