3 Fusion conducted Digital Literacy Program for its clients and other people from the community in order to impart knowledge on various modes of cashless transaction, linking of Aadhar card to the phone and bank account, digital payments and using debit/credit cards for transaction. The effort were made to make rural households digitally literate, introduce cashless payments to them, and enhance their economic growth and individual empowerment thereby supporting the Digital India Initiative of the Government of India. Each program witnessed massive participation. The sessions were kept interactive, practical and less textual. All the events were reported in local and state level print media. Some of them were even broadcasted as well.

7 Fusion conducts Financial Literacy Programs in two forms: 1. At the time of Compulsory Group Trainings which are delivered by our relationship officers. A brief information on topics like purpose of taking loan, channels of taking loan, over indebtedness, responsibilities of group members in JLG, documents required for loan application etc are explained to loan seekers in brief within 20 minutes time. All the topics are explained through pictorial tool kit for an easy understanding of the topic. The target audience is illiterate and hence pictures act as an effective mode of conveying information to rural women.

8 At mass level in rural areas in which hundreds of women including Fusion s clients and other people from the community participate The objective is to provide awareness on important aspects of household financial management. and encourage them to inculcate the smart practices of saving money in their life from the existing source of income. Various topics like household budgeting, investment, prevention from over-indebtedness, developing positive attitude towards savings and financial security from the current income source etc. were discussed during the session. The sessions are interactive which ensures full participation of women through games, quizzes, role plays, simulation exercise etc. Some share their success and failure stories as well. These programs are recorded in local and state level print media as well.

12 Fusion organizes Health camp for rural women and children in its operational areas in which huge number of people participate. Diagnosis of patients are done by well established Gynecologists, Pediatricians, Ophthalmologists and General Physicians. Based on the diagnosis, patients are provided with free of cost medicines and healthy snacks. Women and children are also advised to maintain hygiene through Street plays followed by Sanitary napkins distribution during the camp. The main motive is to spread awareness on use of napkins for maintaining their personal health and hygiene. These programs are recorded in local and state level print media as well.

14 Health awareness programs were organised in different states to celebrate International Women s day on 8 th March, Women were sensitised on the health issues related to menstrual cycle and other personal hygiene related problems by Gynaecologist doctors. Rural women celebrated womanhood in various states in presence of eminent women officials from the area. An awareness on maintaining good personal health and hygiene was delivered through street plays, videos and counselling by Gynaecologists. The program was well captured in print and electronic media.

He was referred to a speciality hospital where his treatment can be taken ahead by just spending Rs. 100/sitting whereas some local hospital had suggested an amount of Rs. 60,000 for the treatment without even properly diagnosing the boy Itain was suffering from cerebral palsy. His father has already spent 3 Lakhs on his treatment. But, no major improvement have been seen. His parents visited the camp with him, after performing the check-up they were referred to the speciality hospital which can cure this health issue with physiotherapy and at a much lower cost The girl was wearing spectacles of incorrect number from past 1 year. She was not able to read, write or see properly due to vision problem. Her eye check-up was done and correct number was given to her The old lady was suffering from pain from last 1.5 months. During the check-up the doctor found out that her foot is broken. She was also diagnosed with cataract which she was completely unaware of. She was given basic medicines and referred to the local hospital for further treatment

20 National Nutrition Week ( 1 st 7 th Sept) was celebrated from 4th to 7th September, 2018 in remote areas. Medical health check-up camps were organized on this occasion where women and children participated in huge number. Patients diagnosed with nutritional and iron deficiencies were given special supplements. Awareness on adopting healthy eating habits was spread through counselling sessions by Aanganwadi workers and street plays. The program was well captured in print and electronic media.

23 Under its program JIVIKA, Fusion organised skill development trainings empowering rural women. Participants were also trained on product packaging and market linkage. Trainings have been parted on product which has good market demand and provide good earnings in return. Certificates were also provided to each candidate on successful completion of the program. Till date trainings has been conducted on good income generating occupations like: 1. Paper bag making 2. Cutting and sewing program 3. Dona making program 4. Pickel and papad making

27 FLOOD RELIEF IN KERALA FLOOD RELIEF IN BIHAR HEALTH CAMP FOR FLOOD EFFECTED PEOPLE IN U.P. FIRE RELIEF IN BIHAR Relief material was distributed to flood affected household Cherukadapuram, Kochukadavu, Nadathara and Cherpu of Kerala. Some collection was done at head office as well. Kerala faced a massive flood in August The natural calamity caused immeasurable misery and devastation affecting hundreds of life. The area became too difficult to reach out to, however, Fusion managed to provide packets of relief materials and other necessary items like toiletries etc. to the people living in those areas. Flood relief material was distributed to flood victims affected villages of Bihar in 2017 Food, toiletries and household items were distributed to victims in Purnia and Gopalganj. Collection of relief material was done by head office staff as well. The Health camp was organised in flood affected region of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh which was on a verge of endemic. People were diagnosed by the Physician and Gynaecologist. Based on the prescription, suitable medicines were given to them for free. Patients were also provided with healthy snacks. Fusion provided relief material and clothes to its clients at Daudnagar village in Bihar who lost her house and belonging to a natural fire caused by the heat waves. 29 On the occasion of Children s Day, school bags and stationery items were distributed to school going children. The day was celebrated in the presence of government officials from the area. Fusion ensured maximum participation of girl students in the program. Stationary items included school bag, notebook, pen and pencil kit, colouring book, colours etc The program was reported in media as well.

31 An awareness program was organized to sensitize the rural community on the importance of educating children and women hygiene followed up by distribution of school bags along with stationery to underprivileged children and sanitary napkins to women.

32 Fusion has constructed Toilets for the usage of men and women in the rural areas. The objective was to promote use of toilets at community level for avoiding open defecation and spread the message of Swachh Bharat. Some of them are constructed in the government schools for girls to ensure their regular attendance in the school. Toilets have been constructed in rural areas providing benefit to the community

33 Post construction of the toilets, awareness programs were organized to sensitize the school children, teachers and community people on the importance of using toilets in order to maintain hygiene inside the school premises and at the community level.

34 Fusion constructed toilet in the rural area of Jharkhand to promote the uses of toilets at the community level. Some of them were constructed in the government schools for girls which resulted in increasing their attendance in the school. Within two months, the higher secondary government school at Rajhdhanwar has witnessed 20% rise in the school attendance. It has also helped in changing parents attitude towards using toilets at school, home and at public places. School environment has become much cleaner than before. Students and teachers have become conscious towards cleanliness inside the school premises.

36 Sapling distribution was done to women from the village. Saplings of medicinal plants like Neem, Tulsi, Jamun, etc were distributed. Plantation of medicinal plants were also done at Panchayat Area and at two Government schools. Plantation was done by the Sarpanch, women and school children themselves.

38 SPONSORSHIPS Sponsorship for Girl child education Sponsorship was done to support one year of education for underprivileged girl children studying in Udbhav school, Hyderabad. Sponsorship to Go sports foundation for promotion of Paralympic sports Fusion contributed towards the training of athletes. The programme was launched to groom emerging athletes to represent India at major international events such as the Commonwealth & Asian Games in 2022, the Olympics in 2024, and beyond. Sponsorship to Rotary Club for promotion of music and art Sponsorship was given to Sandeepon Music and Educational Society (SMES) which runs its open school with the name Samriddhi. The school is dedicated to promote education, art and culture amongst underprivileged children of the society. Donation to Indian Cancer Society Donation to Indian Cancer Society was done through HDFC Charity Fund for Cancer Care for the treatment of cancer patients who can not afford their treatment.
