Tuesdays from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Cancer Center (East) Room June 21 & 28, July 12 & 19, August 2 & 9 Registration requested. Call Materials and light refreshments are provided. Healing Through Art A free art class is offered by Wendy Wallace, M.Ed., art teacher, two Thursdays a month from 3:30 5:00 p.m.. Open to those touched by cancer. Next session Thursdays April 21 May 12 & 19 to prepare for art show Registration requested. Call Materials and light refreshments are provided. Celebrate National Library Week April : Share Your Library Story and Enjoy Other Events Tell us why the Christiana Care libraries matter to you, your community or just share your favorite library experience. The workshop is offered twice: 1-3 p.m. & 6-8 p.m. Registration is requested. Call Materials and light refreshments are provided. Open to all. During April, the Junior Board Cancer Resource Library has on display its poetry and writing resources. On Poem in your pocket day, Thursday April 21, pick up a poem to read and share. More at On Display Photography by award winning photographer, Helen Gerstein, captures the emotion and beauty of people. She is a member of the Delaware Photographic Society. Art works by participants of the Expressive Art & Healing Through Art programs. For Christiana Care Staff Resources in Oncology Resources in Oncology page brings together resources of interest to healthcare practitioners. It includes link to LWW Oncology, shortcuts to selected oncology journals, top-read articles in oncology and more. LWW Oncology LWW Oncology is an all-in-one online resource that includes oncology texts, NCI patient education, drug monographs, entries from PubMed, NCCN guidelines, presentation-ready pathology images.
