I have routinely prepared comprehensive risk reports for formal proceedings. I have worked predominantly within high security and open prison settings and with clients with a range of offending histories, including violent and sexual offending and criminogenic needs including substance abuse and poor problem solving skills. I am trained and experienced in using empirically based clinical judgement tools and in assessments of cognitive functioning and psychopathy. I have also undertaken assessments of cognitive functioning and personality to inform decisions about treatment pathways. I am experienced in acting as an expert witness in formal settings. I am experienced in facilitating a cognitive-behavioural emotional management programme incorporating skills training and relapse prevention strategies. I have provided supervision and mentoring to peers and forensic psychologists in training. I have developed training on assessing risk for caseworkers and delivered training on working with psychopathic offenders to prison staff. 4 CHRONOLOGICAL WORK HISTORY Appendix December 2015 present: Independent Registered Forensic Psychologist I am developing experience under supervision in conducting psychological assessments and preparing risk reports for family court proceedings in cases where there are concerns about risk of harm and ability to protect. I have been approved to complete risk assessment reports on offenders in custody and provide reports on an associate basis. July 2010 December 2015: High Security Prison, Senior Registered Forensic Psychologist Prepared comprehensive risk reports on complex cases for review bodies answering specific questions. Utilised empirically based clinical judgement tools and psychological assessments to inform treatment pathways, risk assessments and evaluate treatment outcomes. Acted as a professional witness in Parole Board hearings and multi agency meetings. Provided consultancy support to local review panels and senior manager teams. Provided supervision to Forensic Psychologists in Training and supervision and mentorship to treatment managers and facilitators of cognitive behavioural interventions. May 2008 July 2010: Category D Prison, Senior Chartered Forensic Psychologist Intensive case management of complex cases involving the review of cases and professional advice given by other practitioners on the potential release of prisoners. Regularly and frequently provided consultancy to multi agency teams on risk reviews and sentence management meetings. Led on multi agency meetings for complex cases where specific concerns identified the need for a higher level of intensive case management and monitoring. Provided supervision to a Forensic Psychologist in Training and contributed to the development of a training package for supervisors. March 2003 May 2008: High Security Prison, Senior Chartered Forensic Psychologist Led on assessments for newly convicted offenders. This involved the co ordination and allocation of work within the team and effective prioritisation of cases. Coordinator for a student placement scheme and provided supervision to placement students. Part of a multi disciplinary team set up to manage the introduction of a new sentence planning process to the establishment. Strong leadership, communication and analytical skills were essential to successful integration with existing processes and conservation of resources.

5 Provided support sessions to staff working within a highly controlled environment with high risk violent offenders focussing on issues including coping and wellbeing. Delivered training on working with psychopathic offenders to a range of staff and developed and delivered training on risk assessment for staff trained to use a generic offender assessment system. September 1999 March 2003: High Security Prison, Trainee Forensic Psychologist Involved in the introduction, facilitation and treatment management of a new emotional management programme for violent offenders. Engaged proactively and enthusiastically with supervision to develop and refine skills essential to becoming a qualified psychologist.
