1 Origins, Introduction, and Overview to the Action Plan The following Action Plan provides direction for regional services in the cycle. The May 2014 meeting of the Northern California Regional Services Committee (NCRSC) developed nearly all of the first draft based on their understanding of internal and external issues affecting the fellowship and their observations about our collective needs. The H&I/PR Leadership Team edited items related to their work. The outgoing NCRSC Fellowship Service Team (FST) edited other items, added the goals and objectives carried forward from the previous year, placed key items on the attached RSC calendar, and presented a draft for the NCRSC s consideration in June This action plan will require significant financial and human resources. Some elements of the plan align with the regular duties of specific positions and will be funded as part of routine expenses for the RSC. Others require the formation of working groups and/or the use of discretionary funds. These will come before the body as project proposals. The RSC will have the opportunity to review project proposals and allocate discretionary funds for the purpose of fulfilling these objectives throughout the cycle. Members of the FST unanimously believe that this action plan represents the priorities of the NCRSC and provides an ambitious but realistic plan for fulfilling services aligned with obtainable objectives. We are inspired to fulfill this vision and will measure our progress in the year ahead against these benchmarks set by the RSC. 1
