7 Stanback 7 characteristics of those with guardians compared to those without and to look at the relationship between health outcomes and the onset of guardianship during the study years. The sample is from the Minimum Data Set (MDS), and the project is secondary analysis, using SAS Research Assistant University of Florida, School of Natural Resources Project: Pilot Study of Growth and Development in Rural Florida PI: Dr. Mark Brennan, Summer 2005 Project Description: Qualitative study of major stakeholders from the public and private sectors in the Florida counties of Wakulla, St. John s, Port St. Lucie, and Charlotte, shown by U.S. Census figures to be among the fastest growing counties in Florida and in the U.S. Study findings included unevenness in the management of development in the sites, showed the impact of hurricanes and tropical storms in 2004, and demonstrated income and class disparities within communities.
