Develop a better understanding of the current structures of Indian Health Services and Migrant Health. 3. Describe the referral systems used by Indian Health Services and Migrant Health and provide better post-hospital care for patients. 4. Define a policy, systems and environmental change (PSE) approach to reduce risk factors associated with cancer. 5. Describe effective and evidence-based PSE approaches that can be implemented at the community level to accomplish priorities of the NDCC state plan. 6. Recognize the role of leadership at various levels within PSE approaches. Planning for a cancer-free future.

Hostetter, M.D. Dr. Jeffrey Hostetter s career since 2003 has included being a staff physician at the Fort Yates Indian Health Service Hospital in Fort Yates, N.D., coverage of emergency rooms in small towns around the state, involvement in academic medicine at the UND Center for Family Medicine residency where he is currently the program director, and serving as Medical Director of the North Dakota Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. In addition to patient care and teaching duties he is involved in numerous research activities including Hepatitis C treatment, and is the director of the UND Diabetes Center currently under development in Bismarck. Terry Wolf, M.D. Dr. Terry Wolff provides family practice, occupational health, preventive medicine and medical surveillance for companies, municipalities and agencies. He also provides medical services for patients at Migrant Health which includes initial screenings for cancer, along with referrals for further diagnostic workup or treatment when needed. Dr. Wolff is a lifelong resident of Fargo, N.D., and a fourth generation landowner of the family farm in Lehr, N.D., where he spent his summers as a youth working as a farmhand. Bob Upgren Bob Upgren is the co-founder and CEO of Cross Training Inc., one of the largest sports and leadership organizations in the country. Bob is an author, speaker, and independent consultant. He has become an invaluable resource in challenging, mentoring, and teaching people of all ages how to be more creative as artistic leaders. As an author, much of Upgrenʼs latest writings are categorized under the leadership umbrella.
