4 TOP PRIORITY: ENROLLMENT MANAGEMENT Graduate Enrollment Management (GEM) is a top priority for graduate deans and their staff, according to the 2017 CGS Pressing Issues Survey. The CGS Annual Meeting is a key outreach opportunity for companies that provide solutions supporting admissions, recruitment and retention of graduate students. Key Players in Recruiting and Retaining Graduate Students In the next months 12 84% of CGS member deans say that it is likely or very likely that they will devote a significant portion of their time providing leadership in graduate enrollment management. 80% of CGS member deans say that it is likely or very likely that their institutions will adopt new student recruitment strategies to enhance diversity and inclusiveness. A Strong Interest in Creating New Degree Programs In the next months 12 83% of CGS member deans say that it is likely or very likely that their institutions will create one or more graduate degree programs. 74% indicate that it is likely or very likely that their institutions will create one or more graduate degree programs for online delivery. 5 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES AT THE CGS 57 TH ANNUAL MEETING DECEMBER 6-9, 2017, SCOTTSDALE, AZ Meet-and-Greet for New Members and First-Time Meeting Attendees Wednesday, December 6 Connect with new CGS members and newlyappointed deans at this popular networking event, which takes place just before the meeting s opening reception and dinner. Event co-sponsors will receive recognition in the meeting program and in prominent signage at the event itself. Representatives from your company are encouraged to attend. Members: $1,500 per company sponsorship; Nonmembers: $1,875 Registration Packet Inserts Provide a one-page (front-and-back) paper insert to all registered meeting attendees, or propose another small item to include in registration packets. (Non-print items are subject to approval by CGS and may require an additional cost). Members: $1,000; Nonmembers: $1,250 Tote Bags Give high visibility to your company s brand by sponsoring the tote bags that will be distributed to all registered meeting attendees. Your company s logo will appear on one side of the bag (the CGS logo will appear on the reverse), a useful keepsake both during and after the meeting. Members: $10,000; Nonmembers: $12,500 Lanyards Your company s name and logo will be prominently featured on the lanyards that meeting attendees will use to wear their nametags throughout the meeting. An added benefit of this sponsorship is that lanyards are often visible in meeting photos. Members: $6,000; Nonmembers: $7,500 Final Program Printing By sponsoring the printing of the final CGS program, your company will have the exclusive privilege of featuring a free, full-page ad in the program. Describe a specific product or service, or share a special message with the meeting attendees. Members: $6,000; Nonmembers: $7,500 Hotel Room Key Cards Reach nearly all the meeting registrants with your company s name and logo printed on the back and front of hotel room key cards. Presented at checkin to each attendee, key cards ensure that your company s name will be encountered early and repeatedly throughout the meeting. Members: $6,000; Nonmembers: $7,500 Charging Kiosk Meeting participants rely upon the convenience of a charging kiosk to charge their mobile devices between sessions. Located in the Refreshment/ Exhibit area, the kiosk will prominently display your company s name. Members: $6,000; Nonmembers: $7,500 Networking Breaks Networking breaks are a welcome opportunity for meeting attendees to meet old and new colleagues. Your company s name will be visibly displayed as a sponsor on a sign at one of these well-attended events. Members: $7,000; Nonmembers: $8,750 Assistant & Associate Deans Breakfast Thursday, December 7 Create brand recognition for your company and connect with emerging leaders in graduate education at this annual breakfast for assistant and associate deans. 6 Registration Desk December 6-8 Prominently feature your company s brand and services by sponsoring the Annual Meeting registration desk. As they register for the meeting, all attendees will see a sign, which you will provide, bearing your company s name. A folder with your logo will conveniently organize their materials to keep your company in their minds throughout the meeting. One paper-based handout and up to two small swag items may be left on the table for registrants. Members: $8,000; Nonmembers: $10,000 Breakfast Presentations for All Attendees Thursday, December 7 Friday, December 8 Saturday, December 9 In sponsoring a breakfast open to all meeting attendees, a spokesperson from your organization will give a 30-minute presentation, followed by a question-and-answer session with CGS deans. This is an opportunity to offer expertise on a trend in graduate education, present a new product or service, and gain valuable insights and feedback from decision-makers in the graduate school. Opening Reception for All Attendees Wednesday, December 6 Join the CGS leadership in kicking off the Annual Meeting by sponsoring the opening reception for all attendees. Any new CGS member at the Collaborator level is eligible, on a first-come basis, to sponsor this well-attended and high-profile event. Evening Receptions for All Attendees Thursday, December 7 Friday, December 8 After a busy day of panel sessions, two evening receptions offer Annual Meeting attendees an opportunity to relax, network, and discuss ideas shared in meeting sessions. By sponsoring one of these well-attended events, your company will be acknowledged by the CGS President and a representative of your organization will be invited to deliver brief welcoming remarks. Saturday, December 9 Globally, 3MT competitions help prepare graduate students to communicate the value of their research to a broad audience. Associate your brand with this plenary session, which will showcase the winners of regional competitions and conclude with a roundtable discussion. Your company will be recognized in the opening remarks and will receive photo opportunities with 3MT awardees.
