Ovitz s mission is to make a difference in people s lives who are dealing with appearance issues during cancer treatment and beyond by sharing easy- to- follow step- by- step makeup application tips and techniques. For the past 10 years, she has been volunteering at the University of Chicago Hospital s Radiation and Cellular Oncology facility, where patients young and old can nurture hopefulness and overcome their feelings of desperation as they deal with this terrible disease. Never forgetting children and teens, she has been volunteering at Comer Children s Hospital at the University of Chicago for the past 12 years, sharing her tips, spending time making children laugh, and overall bringing a feeling of joy and normalcy to these very important patients.
