By typing in an address into the resource map, you can see supportive programs in your neighborhood. Reach Us! Partners are encouraged to use the content of this marketing kit to promote Prevent Child Abuse (PCA) Georgia s CHILDREN Helpline and Resource Map among parents, caregivers, early care and education providers, and other child and family serving professionals. This marketing kit includes News content and accompanying images Web banner Printable flyer PowerPoint slide Social media content o Tweets o Facebook/ Instagram posts with accompanying images and videos News/ Newsletter Content News content or blurbs are short entries appropriate for newsletters or other communication media. They can be used as is or customized to the audience. They are organized by target audience: child serving professionals, early care and education providers, and parents. Audience: Parents Being a parent is hard work and sometimes we can all use a little help to get through the tough parts. The CHILDREN ( ) Helpline is a free, parent-friendly number, where caregivers can talk to bilingual professionals who can help connect callers to supportive programs and organizations in their neighborhood. The CHILDREN Helpline can connect caregivers with: Parenting support After school and other child programs Counseling and support groups Referrals for legal needs Grandparent raising grandchildren resources Concerns about well-being of a child or family member Family violence resources Community resources for emergency assistance Resources for special needs children 2

As family serving professionals you know parents are often in complex situations and may need professional and community support. Here s how you can help: 1. Encourage families you serve to call the CHILDREN ( ) Helpline to talk to trained professionals to connect them with supportive programs in their area. 2. Go online to use the CHILDREN Resource Map, which contains over 3,000 local and statewide programs designed to assist and support families. See what services are available in the areas where you serve families. 3. Access a printable flyer (half page, prints on 8.5 x 11 ) for your organization or agency, a web button for your website, and more. Encourage families to use this FREE helpline.
