1 WorléeAqua Thix 150 Rheology modifier and thickener for Personal Care Description WorléeAqua Thix 150 is a liquid acrylic dispersion designed to thicken, suspend and stabilize products containing low and high levels of surfactants or electrolytes. It is a cost-effective and easy to handle product with numerous benefits. The formulator can create sophisticated cleansing products with different textures ranging from clear formulations with suspended particles to pearlescent systems and oil-rich shower creams. The thickener works at active surfactant levels from 5-30%. The highest clarity the polymer is achieved between ph Depending on the formulation and ingredients WorléeAqua Thix 150 is effective at ph Where clarity is not required, the formulation can be adjusted below ph 6 after neutralization using an organic or inorganic base and then lowering the ph of the system with an acid. Yield value and suspension properties usually increase below ph 6. We recommend the following order of addition to ensure optimal efficiency. Tan δ of WorléeAqua Thix 150 is completely independent of SLES/CAPB ratio. All other products needs a higher use level to achieve a tan δ below 0.3. So WorléeAqua Thix 150 is most cost effective. WorléeAqua Thix 150 has the highest viscosity of all products with SLES/CAPB ratio of 10:2. For high betaine shower gels and a SLES/CAPB ratio of 7.2:4.8 WorléeAqua Thix 150 has the requested viscosity level. Polymer C is too viscous and obtain a undesirable stringy texture. The two other polymers need a higher use level or a co-thickener.
