4 The purpose of this study is to investigate about the impact of yoga on quality of life, pain, and sedentary behavior in the workplace.

5 Will a yoga intervention impact activity patterns, specifically, the number of hours sitting during the workday? How does a yoga intervention impact pain and quality of life in adults with sedentary behaviors during the workday?

6 Sedentary Behavior Those who sit a majority of the work day have increased musculoskeletal injuries and pain (Cheema et al., 2013). Individuals with sedentary occupations have an increased risk of morbidity and mortality (Mackey, 2013).

7 Mindfulness Helped individuals become more flexible with problem solving skills, more focused, and better able to cope with difficult situations (Thompson, 2009). Quality of Life Individuals who attended yoga for six months on a regular basis had significantly increased general vitality (Strijk, Proper, van Mechelen, & van der Beek, 2013).
