Throughout the previous more than 15 years of serving various posts in the association, I cherished the precious opportunity to work with different EC members in overcoming various challenges, witnessing & making collective contribution to the advancement in our profession. I believe that my experiences, IT skills, passion, affinity & established network can be useful asset of our association. Together with the coming elected executive members of HKPA, we ll strive to synergize our full endeavors to serve with Passion & Action, & to excel our profession in this era of competition, Information & Health Technology. Unite PTs from all sectors (HA/private/NGO/academics/students). My EC team will have members from all sectors. (2) To address important local PT issues: Public awareness of PT. Professional autonomy. PT manpower and standard of training. (3) To increase visibility of HKPA in international platform: I have strong connections with Presidents of PT Associations in AWP region. Bid for regional/international conference. Members to bid for leadership positions in WCPT regional/subgroup committees. (4) To raise the profile of HKPA Journal: HKPJ has passed the Scientific Quality check of PubMed Central this year. To ensure we pass the Technical Quality check in , so that HKPJ can gain Pubmed coverage.

2 Voting for the New Executive Committee ( ) Nominees information Dr. CHAN Chi Ming, Andy I am currently the senior physiotherapist and Clinical Stream Coordinator (Allied Health) at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital and Kowloon Central Cluster, respectively. Also I am the adjunct Associate Professor of the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at PolyU. It has been an honor to serve as the Honorary Treasurer of Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association for the past ten years. I do cherish this marvelous experience albeit it is certainly not an easy task. I hope my experience and financial stewardship can contribute further to our profession. Mr. CHAN Kin Ming, Clement Mr. Clement Chan is the Fellow (Cardiopulmonary Physiotherapy) of Hong Kong College of Physiotherapy and the Certified Clinical Exercise Physiologist of American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM). Also, Mr. Chan holds a Master Degree in Geriatric Rehabilitation from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Mr. Chan has extensive clinical experience in physiotherapy, exercise testing and exercise prescription for individuals with cardiopulmonary disorders. Currently, Mr. Chan is the Senior Physiotherapist of the Ruttonjee and Tang Shiu Kin Hospitals, who leads the service development of the Physiotherapy Department. In addition, he was the former Chairman of the Cardiopulmonary Specialty Group in the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association and the former Workshop Director (Hong Kong) of the ACSM. Besides, he was the Visiting Lecturer of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Mr. CHAU Ka Wai, Daniel It is a great honor to serve HKPA starting from As the Senior Manager (Membership), I have the privilege to communicate with HKPA members from different settings and countries, to coordinate issues on HKPA membership. It would be a great honor to continue my contribution to the profession and I look forward to devoting myself to join the Executive Committee in the coming term. Mr. CHU Ka Ho, Tommy I am currently practicing in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. I am glad to serve our profession as Membership Secretary Assistant in the past few years. I certainly need your support to continue contributing and serving for our profession! Mr. FUNG Wai Yip, Kerry Being the Chairman of the International Acupuncture Association of Physical Therapists, a former Chairman of the Registration Committee of the Physiotherapists Board and a former Vice President of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association, my vision is to uplift and uphold the visibility and representation of the Physiotherapy profession in International, Mainland and local societies. Having been in the profession for over thirty years, I love Physiotherapy and would like to see it progress and be known. International, mainland and public relations should be strengthened and our share as stakeholder should expand. I would do my best to serve! Mr. KWOK Chun Fai, Anthony I am currently working in the Hong Kong Buddhist Hospital. It is my honor to serve as Financial Manager in HKPA in the past few years. In fact, I enjoy working with our devoted and energetic EC colleagues. I do hope my experience can further contribute to our profession.

3 Mr. LAI Wai Kin, Charles I am the Department Manager (Physiotherapy), Shatin Hospital, Hospital Authority. I have been working in HKPA Executive Committee (EC) in the past few terms. As VP (External Affairs) in term, I have liaised with various fellow organizations and responded to lots of enquires for the promotion of our Profession and health education to public. I am willing to continue to work for the HKPA and contribute to its continuous development. If elected, I believe my past experience in the Physiotherapists Board and current tenure of office in the Supplementary Medical Professions Council (SMPC) could enhance my contribution to the Executive Committee decision, as well as the operation of the HKPA. Mr. LO Kai Fai, Vincent It was my honor and a treasurable experience to serve our fellow members of the HKPA as an Associate Membership Secretaries in the past two years. In coming future, I look forward to continuing my contribution to the association and our profession. Your sincere support will be most encouraging and valuable to me, thank you very much. Mr. MA Fat Chuen, Brian Ms. LAM Chui Yi, Isa I have served HKPA as the Executive Committee of the Musculoskeletal Specialty Group since 2012 and the Associate Membership Secretary from 2013 to It was a privilege to work for our members and strengthen our professional role in the past years. I am passionate about promoting our profession and would like to continue my contribution to the association. It would be a great honor if I have the opportunity to join the Executive Committee again. Mr. LEE Ka Man, Harry My name is Lee Ka Man, Harry (李嘉文). I graduated from the Hong Kong Polytechnic in I started my physiotherapy career in HA and now I am the senior physiotherapist of a NGO centre, the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals Jockey Club Rehabilitation Complex. I have been working for the HKPA news bulletin for more than 10 years. I would also like to contribute more for our profession in EC of the HKPA Ltd. Mr. LIU Ka Po It is my great honor to be an Executive Committee of the Musculoskeletal Specialty Group of Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association (HKPA) between 2013 and I am also one of the IT and Logistic Subcommittee members of the HKPA Annual Conference since Being the committee member, it provides a great opportunity for me to communicate with other HKPA members and helps organizing functions for developing our profession. I hope I can continue to devote myself to HKPA and contribute more to our profession by joining the Executive Committee. I am Brian MA, Senior Physiotherapist in Tuen Mun Hospital. I have served HKPA as a membership secretory and Senior IT manager in past eight years. With the support from Executive Committee team, we had modernized the HKPA homepage and made use of the social network platform and to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of communication with members. One of the key changes was transformed the IT issues from money spending to profit making business. We also established an electronic Hong Kong Physiotherapists Directory to facilitate easier public access to local PT service. I count on your support to continue my contribution to the profession. Ms MAK Man Yu, Mandy Hi, this is Mandy MAK. In the past two years, it was my honor to serve as the Professional Development and Information Technology Manager (CPD) of Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association. It was an invaluable experience of working together with physiotherapists of different organizations. I m looking forward having chance to serve my fellow members again. Mr. NG Yiu Pan, Nelson Hi, I am Nelson. I have experienced in NGO setting and public hospital after graduated. It is my pleasure working with experience EC members in the past 6 years. I am looking forward to continue my contribution in Association and your vote is definitely an encouragement for me.

4 Mr. NGAI Chi Wing, Gorman I have been working as physiotherapist in different settings for over 20 years, and now working at a private clinic. I totally understand what difficulty our profession need to face in both public and private setting. This is really my pleasure to serve the HKPA and our colleagues in last few years as one of the ex-com of HKPA. I would like to try my best to promote our profession and make us stronger, as we worth better recognition and respect from the public and other profession. I am looking forward to serve and facilitate our association and profession again!! Dr. NGAI Pui Ching, Shirley Dr. Ngai is currently working as Assistant Professor at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Her research focused on the disease management in the cardiopulmonary area and explored the underlying mechanisms. Dr. Ngai was awarded 2011 Australian Endeavour Research Fellowship to pursue research studies at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital and University of Sydney specialized in airway obstructive diseases. She has published articles in international peer-reviewed journals including Respiratory Physiology Neurobiology, Journal of Rehabilitation Medicine and Cochrane database of systematic reviews. She was the recipient of 2013/14 RS outstanding teaching award, 2013/14 Faculty award for outstanding performance in teaching and the prestigious 2016 UGC Teaching Award (Early Career Faculty Member) in Hong Kong. Ms. SUEN Mei Yee, Anna Bella It is my honor to be the Honorary Secretary of the HKPA in previous years. I treasure every chance to express our concerns on different topics including the Legislative Council public hearing sessions on Proposed Regulatory Framework for Medical Devices and Strategic Review on Healthcare Manpower Planning and Professional Development Report, I also attended and spoke in the joint press conference by Physiotherapists groups on the Strategic Review on Healthcare Manpower Planning and Professional Development Report. There are more challenges ahead with different competitors around us, with your support again, lets continue to serve the Profession with brave and wisdom together. Mr. TSANG Chi-Chung, Raymond I am Raymond, working in the MacLehose Medical Rehabilitation Centre as the Department Manager and in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences of PolyU as part-time Professor of Practice. Currently I am a member of the Registration Committee of the Physiotherapists Board, the President and founding fellow (musculoskeletal specialty) of the Hong Kong College of Physiotherapy. I am also the chairpersons of the Hand Therapy Specialty Group and Musculoskeletal Specialty Group of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association (HKPA), and the editorial member of the editorial board of the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Journal. I wish to have the support from members of the HKPA to work together for the advancement of the profession and the HKPA. Mr. WAN Sung, Sam Dr. SO Chun Lung, Billy Billy is a Clinical Associate (Physiotherapy) in the Department of Rehabilitation Sciences at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Billy has engaged in various professional and community services. For physiotherapy profession, he has been appointed as the convenor of HKPA Aquatic Physiotherapy Working Group and he is the current Hong Kong representative of Aquatic Physical Therapy International of affiliated network of WCPT. He is an Executive Committee member of Occupational Safety, Health and Rehabilitation Specialty Group of HKPA. For ergonomics, he has been elected as the Council Member and General Secretary of the Hong Kong Ergonomics Society. It has been my great honor and privilege to serve as associate secretary in HKPA to contribute to the development of our profession since There are a lot of opportunities to work with so many talented PT colleagues and students who share the same goal to move our profession forward in the society. In the past few years, I was involved in different fundamental projects such as collaboration with various organizations for promotion of health and physiotherapy. The experience makes me more competent to continue working in HKPA for our profession. In order to be an active part in this family to continue my contribution to the profession with my passion and inexhaustible vigor, your support would be the most important definitely!

5 Dr. WONG Yu Lok, Arnold Dr. Arnold Wong is a clinician-scientist. He practiced as a Physiotherapist II and I in Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Arnold then pursued his MPhil in Orthopaedics and Traumatology from The University of Hong Kong, and completed his PhD training from the University of Alberta, Canada. Arnold has established mature global research collaborations and has published numerous articles in top peer-reviewed journals. Arnold is devoted to serve as an Executive Committee member in the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Association (HKPA) to facilitate knowledge translation, and to assist local clinicians to conduct high quality research. Being a PolyU staff, Arnold will mobilize Physiotherapy students to join HKPA student memberships. Mr. WOO Chuen Hau, Alexander In the past 10 years, I am so glad that I got your support and participated in different sectors including executive committee, editorial board and OSHRSG of HKPA. Through serving in different projects and events, I can grow and move forward with our profession. After working in the private setting for 17 years, I switched to PolyU in 2015 for passing the flame to the next generation. Our association, our profession and myself need your untiring support for further advancement and development in a bright future!!!! Mr. YEUNG Ngai Chung, Ivan I am currently a Physiotherapist I of Physiotherapy Department of Yan Chai Hospital. It is my honor for me to serve HKPA in the past 12 years as an editor of the HKPA News Bulletin and Webpage editor. I treasure the opportunity to work with our professional peers and enjoy with a great team to embrace the challenges in our profession. I sincerely count on your support to continue my contribution and looking forward to join the Executive Committee in the coming term.
