Adding a two hour lab will solidify the material and give the opportunity to students to gain a three dimensional perspective on the subject. The current course format gives a very superficial review of human visceral anatomy The proposed change to ANAT 316 would be to add one lab per week (2 hours) to complement the lecture content. The labs would involve students inspection of pre-dissected specimens (i.e. prosections) to learn the 3D organization and inter-relationship of gross anatomical visceral structures. Louis Hermo
