1 JOB SPECIFICATION Job Title: Reporting To: Function: Job Location: Environment, Health & Safety Manager Head of QEHS, Technical & Blends QEHS, Technical & Blends Coleford Overview and Job purpose Direct and support EHS programmes at Coleford to ensure full compliance with current laws, regulations and LRS Standards To ensure that environment, health and safety related statutory, civil and business continuity risks and impacts are managed and minimised To influence the Site Leadership Team to improve EHS management and performance in their areas of responsibility Strategic planning as well as a tactical role for site-wide EHS management systems, EHS regulations, and industry best practices Front Coleford to external audits by Customers, Standards bodies and Suntory Beverage & Food Europe (SBFE) / SBF Primary Interactions The Environment, Health & Safety Manager reports to the Head of QEHS, Technical & Blends and interacts as necessary with key stakeholders: Site Leadership Team QEHS, Technical & Blends Engineering Manufacturing Planning Logistics EHS team R&D Suppliers External auditors External Regulators Security IT SBFE / SBF equivalents

2 Key Responsibilities Safety Driving the health and safety culture to create a healthy and risk free working environment. Leadership and Planning To implement the Site EHS strategy and associated planning process Support Coleford in the achievements of agreed EHS metrics and targets. To advise management of EHS matters in compliance with Global EHS Standards and site procedures. To serve as a contact for above site (SBF / SBFE) and external groups such as Government regulators. To ensure a proportionate focus is maintained on EHS priorities through proactive communication and support. To keep the Site Leadership Team abreast of changes to statutory requirements and to manage the dissemination of internal and external alerts effectively. Work effectively as a team member with fellow managers, including other employee health and EHS professionals at the site and elsewhere in LRS / SBFE Risk Management Support overall site EHS and Loss Prevention capability and performance that meets LRS, regulatory and other external stakeholder expectations Co-ordinate EHS risk management activities across all site operations and functions, including risk assessment and risk registers, risk mitigation and risk escalation Co-ordinate the site s planning for emergency response. To support site Crisis Management Plans with the Site Leadership Team and to test the plans with realistic scenarios. To ensure alignment of the Coleford Business Continuity Plan with site emergency response and crisis management strategies. Environment, Health and Safety Develop and co-ordinate implementation of site EHS programmes based on a management-system approach with an emphasis on key EHS risks for the site such as Machinery safety, Chemical Agents, Ergonomics, Contractor Safety, Occupational and environmental noise, Waste and Effluent Management, Energy Management and Vehicle Safety. Understanding and interpretation of EHS legislation and other standards into local EHS procedures To maximise success of major capital investment projects by proactively managing EHS issues. Develop, conduct and evaluate training and provide coaching on EHS risks and programmes; Monitor EHS standards in the work environment through walkthroughs, inspections and audits and advise management of suitability and effectiveness of controls. Review and track investigations of injuries, illnesses, environmental releases, noninjury accidents and near-misses to ensure that they are effective, and that they identify and resolve root causes. Lead investigations into serious adverse events.

3 Manage an internal audit programme to assess compliance with legal and LRS requirements and identify opportunities for improvement Establish and monitor against site EHS policies, objectives, key performance indicators and targets that reflect local needs and that are aligned with LRS long term EHS strategy and ensure deficiencies are addressed. To identify and advocate the adoption of relevant industry best practice and to continuously improve application of sound EHS practice Identify and assess EHS risks associated with key suppliers, materials and contract manufacturers that are managed locally Actively promote a positive safety culture and maximise site personnel involvement in EHS ensuring visibility of targets, programmes progress, promotional programmes, successes and issues Knowledge of all work place health & safety regulations and to comply with them Ensure timely raising, escalating and closure of all ZAP related corrective & Preventative actions Conduct themselves safely at all times following standard operating procedures and wearing the relevant PPE as required for the task. Perform a daily safety audit of their area of responsibility (asset) and contribute to the line safety Gemba Quality Contributing to the achievement of World Class Manufacturing quality through quality system compliance and adherence. Knowledge of all work place quality regulations and to comply with them Escalate any issues that might compromise Product Safety and Product Quality Operate to ISO standards through procedural and documentation compliance. Comply with LRS Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP). Comply with the personal hygiene policy. Responsible for maintaining the department working environment to defined GMP standards at all times Comply with defined 6S standards. Delivery The efficient maintenance of EHS standards at LRS Coleford The establishment, development and ongoing leadership / management of a capable and motivated team with the relevant skills to support a modern FMCG manufacturing operation Deputise as necessary for the Head of QEHS, Technical & Blends in their absence (especially in the event of an EHS incident) Plan and carry out internal Level 1 and Level 2 type audits in order to ascertain compliance, competency and understanding and challenge the simplification, standardisation, resourcing, effectiveness and value of the processes / activities in question. Which in combination provide insights to the business, and opportunities for continuous improvement. Ensuring corrective and preventative actions are duly raised and completed (in a timely manner) by the auditees. Reporting of metrics and data associated with the EHS systems

4 Coordinate external audits of Coleford and ensure that these audits are effectively managed. The systematic planning, execution and reporting of audits and related KPI s in a timely manner with reference to the appropriate standards. People Development Commit to personal and team development through application of the PDR Process. Proactively seek personal development relevant to the job role Ensure flexible working practises by developing your personal and team skills Mentor new starters to integrate them into the team in a timely manner. Ensure compliance with site mandatory training and local operating procedures KPI s Cost Ensure cost effective operation by o Ensuring safe operations o Maintenance of standards to ensure compliant manufacture o Ensure suppliers and materials meet EHS requirements Adherence to audit schedule ZAP / Accident statistics Statutory reporting metrics SBFE / SBF metrics Maintenance of external audit standards Compliance to budget Technical Skills Required Ability to build strong relationships and influence (internally and internally) up to SBF level Ability to manage a team Ability to translate best practice into EHS business solutions for the Supply Chain Seek broad information from internal and external environments in order to form the EHS business agenda for the Supply Chain Ability to set up processes and procedures and lead others in implementing said processes and procedures, to ensure that the EHS agenda is embedded into the site operations Ability to be flexible in thinking in order to evaluate alternative solutions to complex EHS issues Demonstrate strong coaching and communication skills Ability to operate in an ambiguous and fast paced environment and to respond to ever changing business needs Ability to analyse complex data, to see trends and develop recommendations as a result of this Ability to flex communication, coaching and thinking styles across numerous cross functional teams Be an excellent team player with a strong customer focus

Agent for, and promoter of, cross fertilisation of Best Practice and positive change Key Competencies Providing the Vision Strategic Thinking Leading Change Building Teams Developing People Delivering Results Qualifications and Professional Experience Essential: Hold relevant professional Environment, Health and Safety qualifications (e.g. NEBOSH Diplomas, MSc) Member of the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health or demonstrated equivalent Degree in related discipline (eg environmental or safety management, engineering or science); Practical experience in Environment, Health and Safety management; Practical experience of work in a manufacturing environment; Detailed understanding of EHS management systems and implementation of ISO and OHSAS standards Auditing skills and application to EHS Ability to collect, manage, analyse, and interpret EHS data for professional and lay audiences Preferred: ISO and/or Lead Auditor Qualification Knowledge of best EHS practices in relevant industries, eg food & drinks, consumer products Knowledge of drinks manufacturing operations, processes, and equipment and the related EHS issues Knowledge of and experience in the use of Operational Excellence/Lean Sigma tools and techniques
