POSITION DETAIL CURRENT JOB TITLE Business Intelligence JOB GRADE D4 PROPOSED JOB TITLE Business Development Strategy and Intelligence JOB CODE DEPARTMENT Business Development DATE REVIEWED 13/06/2016 LOCATION EMPLOYMENT STATUS Rosslyn Permanent PURPOSE STATEMENT The Business Development Strategy, is responsible for the design, development, updating of AIDC growth strategy, research and development, providing market and economic insight that is essential to drive the strategy, co coordinating various functional areas to make sure that there is synergy between various functional areas and monitoring progress made on various projects. 2 2. POSITION DESCRIPTION MAIN OUTPUTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION (Please provide a short description under each heading/output) 1. Economic and Market Intelligence Analysis of related market trends Analysis of fundamentals and economic information to make projections. Liaise with various external stakeholders to consolidate AIDC s strategy, Develop a monthly economic and market update on critical matters within the automotive industry, Manage the thought leadership programme 2. Development of Strategy Analyse various projects and co-ordinate the implementation programme to avoid duplication and minimise costs and time, Develop project implementation strategy in line with the available resources and the targeted milestones, Evaluate new project pipeline to ensure that only critical projects are ensued and that less critical projects are terminated, 3. Co Ordinate various work at project and functional areas Minimise duplication of work amongst various project streams, Rationalisation of the divisional budget to make sure that each project is sufficiently budgeted for, Support departments to monitor the quality of work carried out by their service providers in line with the scope of work, Keep AIDC websites updated Add new pages / fields / features as required on the AIDC websites. Keep updated with latest technologies and creative ideas to enhance the AIDC websites 4. General Support Provide administrational support to the departments such as development of reports, budgets, business cases etc. TIME SPENT 30% 20% 25% 25%
