2 The OECI is a network of cancer institutes aiming to improve the quality of cancer care and translational research in Europe, to accelerate the production and application of personalized care approaches and to promote the same level of care to all cancer patients. In order to reach the above objectives, a coordination amongst cancer institutes at a European level is needed and OECI today represents the largest existing network of cancer centres, regrouping 82 of the most well-known, European comprehensive and clinical cancer centres and other institutions, actively working in the field of cancer. Our Members play a central role in our mission of providing quality care to European cancer patients and offering the possibility of accessing the expertise and knowledge developed by the entire network. The 2018 Edition of the Calendar, together with the OECI Magazine, the OECI Yearbook and the Accreditation and Designation Manual, are the main instruments branding the OECI as the bedrock of advanced cancer care. We are honoured to present the 2018 Edition of the Calendar, where some of the milestones and fundamental OECI collaborations are publicized. We hope that the European cancer community, the European and National Authorities, and our patients will appreciate all the efforts made by our extended and synergistic membership, to whom this Edition is dedicated.
