5 Pamplona, August 5th, 2015 To whom it may concern, I am Director of the laboratory of Biomarkers and Head of the Program in Solid Tumors and Biomarkers of the Center for Applied Medical Research (, Spain). My research interest is in the field of lung cancer. My group is trying to identify new diagnostic/prognostic markers and therapeutic targets for this disease. I have had the opportunity to know Pablo Reclusa s personal and professional qualities during his final undergraduate degree project and the research work of his Master Degree. Pablo is intelligent and confident. He is very well-liked and respected by his peers. He is able to work collaboratively on a team and his energy and positive attitude are well-known among members of our research group. He takes directions very well, and is not timid about questioning experimental details or rationale. Therefore, I am confidence that Pablo is a suitable candidate for the PhD position he is applying.
