Biocholine High Flow* Natural source of conjugated choline with a unique lipid profile (Phosphatidyl choline along with other phospholipids and PUFAs) which brings outstanding bioavailability. *Sold in Europe under the name Natu-B4 (Choline)

Natural Composition Highly bioavailable choline from Trachyspermum ammi, Achyranthes aspera and Azadirachta indica. OHCH 2 CH 2 +N.0.00.N N 2 0 CH.0.N 0-0CH 2 CH 2 +N H0 - H0 - Natural source of conjugated choline with with a unique lipid profile (Phosphatidyl choline along with other phospholipids and PUFAs) which brings outstanding bioavailability. Inorganic choline Conjugated choline Figure. The chemical structure of conjugated choline of choline found in BioCholine HF resembles the structure of synthetic choline. Bioavailability and bioequivalence The effect of dietary conjugated choline in raising serum-choline levels is considerably greater and more prolonged than that of choline chloride (R. J. Wurtman et al, The Lancet, July 9, 1977). CHOLINE SERUM (mlml) choline cloride conjugated choline HOURS AFTER CHOLINE INGESTION Regression analyses of FCR values from chickens fed with different levels of choline chloride or Biocholine HF show that bioequivalence between BioCholine HF and pure choline is 1:2.52 (Machado and de Mello, 2013; University Federal Rio Grande do Sul ). 1,7 Linear regression analysis for FCR Plot of Fitted Model Choline chloride 60% FCR (14 to 28 d) = *level of pure choline (P=0.02) BioCholine HF FCR (14 to 28 d) = *level of BioCholine (P=0.03) g/g 1,6 1,5 1,4 Biocholine Ci-Choline 60% Bioequivalence = / = , Level of choline added, mg/kg of feed 1000 gr BioCholine HF = 2500 gr pure Choline 2

Metabolic pathways Phosphatidyl choline present in BioCholine HF enters into the biological system and releases highly labile methyl groups into the site of action. The labile methyl groups released by BioCholine HF help in energy metabolization and control FLS (Fatty liver syndrome). Furthermore, unlike synthetic choline chloride, natural conjugated choline has been reported to promote gene expression of several hepatic enzymes, regulating therefore fat metabolism (Huang et al, 2008). McDowell LR. Vitamins in Animal and Human Nutrition. Liver histopathology Choline Chloride Conjugated choline along with other phospholipids and natural bioactive lipids present in BioCholine HF, promote PPAR receptor activation and thus initiate secretion of adiponectin, to facilitate lipolysis, reducing uptake of FFA in the liver and increasing their clearance. Herbal choline Triglycerides and cholesterol contents in the liver markedly decrease in animals fed a diet containing conjugated choline (Sugiyama et al, 1987). Animals fed with BioCholine show healthy liver and better blood parameters in comparison to those fed Choline chloride (Devegowda et al, 2011). 2 3

Technical characteristics BioCholine HF angle of repose at rest is appropiate to ensure good flow properties. Stability of Biocholine HF powder at 25 0 C and 60% relative humidity. Values in % of Biocholine after remaining stored. 100% 99,90% 98,40% Biocholine HF is stable during 18 months storage. Initial After 18 months storage After 36 months storage % Loss of vitamins (at room temperature) in 3 months Vitamins are substantialy more stable when in contact with BioCholine HF in comparison with Choline chloride Thiamine Vitamin E Pyridoxine Folic Acid Choline Chloride (60%) Vitamin B-12 Riboflavin Vitamin C BioCholine HF 4

Why use BioCholine HF? It is non-hygroscopic. It is a natural source of conjugated choline, highly bioavailable. Promoter of an optimal mobilisation of grease, which prevents fatty liver syndrome. Allows for a better usage of nutrients in high energy diets, improving parameters of production such as feed conversion. Best option to include in vitamin/mineral premix due to its non-corrosive characteristics. High stability due to esterification, compatible with pelleting, extrusion and expansion. Does not increase milli equivalent chlorine levels in animal feed formulations. Has a low level of inclusion due to its excellent input of phosphatidylcholine. Reduced manufacturing and logistics costs. How to use BioCholine HF? Inclusion rates of BioCholine HF depend on feed conditions, production performance and liver health. Feed rate inclusion: Broilers & breeders: Growers, layers, chicks & turkeys: Calves & cows: Swine: Pets (cats, dogs, etc.): Aqua species: gr/ton of feed gr/ton of feed gr/ton of feed gr/ton of feed gr/ton of pet food gr/ton of feed
