3 Metabolic pathways Phosphatidyl choline present in BioCholine HF enters into the biological system and releases highly labile methyl groups into the site of action. The labile methyl groups released by BioCholine HF help in energy metabolization and control FLS (Fatty liver syndrome). Furthermore, unlike synthetic choline chloride, natural conjugated choline has been reported to promote gene expression of several hepatic enzymes, regulating therefore fat metabolism (Huang et al, 2008).
