2 Dear Colleagues and Friends, We are delighted to invite you to Verona on 16 th and 17 th June for the INTERNATIONAL EXPERT MEETING FOR THE TREATMENT OF CHOLANGIOCARCINOMA, endorsed by IASGO and It-IHPBA. Cholangiocarcinoma is an increasing and heterogeneous disease with growing interest and several controversial issues. The conference will provide all participants a unique opportunity to discuss with eminent experts from Italy, Europe, USA and Japan recent achievements on management and treatment of intrahepatic and peri-hilar cholangiocarcinoma. On the 16th of June, a technical postgraduate course endorsed by IASGO will take place. During this course, dedicated in particular to young and future HB surgeons, expert speakers will describe the principles and techniques of laparoscopic and open hepato-biliary surgical procedures. During the meeting abstracts receipt will be selected for poster presentation. The three more relevant abstracts will be awarded during the closing ceremony, and the best will be chosen for oral presentation in the plenary session. Verona is an extraordinary city of art with its traces of ancient history, that during this season offers the best opportunity to fully enjoy its beauty.
