Key Luck Club is open every Saturday of the month from 9:30am to 3:30pm. INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW: Who are the members of our Special Century Birthday Club? Jean Mastrangelo will be 104 on July 20. On Fridays, she still takes a city bus to our center because she enjoys dancing. She was born in her family house in Brooklyn and grew up in Corona. She attended Manhattan Industrial High School where she studied millinery. She has a son, a daughter, three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Because she is not fussy, she will eat anything that is put in front of her. Irving Black will be 104 on August 23 while his wife Dorothy was 100 on February 5. Irving was born in Latvia and came to the United States when he was seven. Irving and Dorothy met while they were living in the same neighborhood and Dorothy walked by his house. They are now married 77 years and have three children, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Irving drives Dorothy to our Center on Fridays so that they can dance together. Pauline Kossar, who would have been 106 on July 21, unfortunately passed away on May 17, She was born in her family house in New York City. She owned two Kossar Bialy Bakeries, that made and sold bialys and other rolls. Her hard work and love of family kept her going. She had said that she had a good life because she did what she wanted. She will be truly missed. We are always looking forward to have more members reach three numbers for their birthday number. Please join the Club. Advisory Council VP, Susan Hall
