1 Save the Dates! A Night at the Theatre March 3 Laughter on the 23rd Floor 6:00p Reception & Cocktails 8:00p Curtains Up PLAYHOUSE ON THE SQUARE General Meeting Wednesday January 17 Ridgeway Country Club (Details below) President: Kynlon Sherrill January 2018 Newsletter Publisher: Stephanie Adams WHAT S HAPPENING IN MATERNAL LEAGUE?!! HAPPY 2018! Happy New Year to you all! I hope you celebrated the start of 2018 in good spirits with family and friends! Now that we re a few days into the new year, it s good to look ahead and think about what this year may bring! Our fundraiser will take place on March 3rd at Playhouse on the Square for a production of Neil Simon s Laughter on the 23rd Floor. Ann Shorter and Stephanie Lincoln have worked diligently on the staging of this event. They have found sponsors and set up committees. However, all of their efforts will be in vain without the full support of our membership! I encourage each of you to not only financially support this fundraiser, but become involved with one of the committees. When everyone becomes involved, we as a group feel the sense of accomplishment that comes from knowing we are playing a small role in bettering the lives of women and children in need in the Memphis area. So... as we ring out the old, let us welcome the new year, full of new and exciting endeavors and raise a toast to yesterday s achievements and Maternal League s future accomplishments! Loving all things Maternal, Kynlon JANUARY Winter Meeting Wednesday, January 17 Meet & Greet: 11:30am Meeting with Lunch & Program: 12pm Speaker: Karen Hill from the March of Dimes What can you do to help?!
