7 Recommendations (NOVEMBER 2012) Based on the data collected this month and sample Classroom Walkthrough with H.E.A.T. reports reviewed by the LoTi Team, the following areas of the walkthrough process will serve as the focus for next month: Encouraging all observed teachers to complete the quarterly H.E.A.T. Walkthrough Feedback Survey. The effectiveness of the Classroom Walkthroughs with H.E.A.T. protocol and the accuracy of the summative data is improved as the number of teacher responses increases throughout the quarter. Stressing the importance of administrators providing feedback to teachers. Consistent feedback and/or meetings with administrators regarding teacher s walkthroughs improves the overall effectiveness of the Classroom Walkthroughs with H.E.A.T. protocol throughout the school year. Review the LoTi Guy Speaks Blog at for strategies aimed at increasing the reliability of the Classroom Walkthroughs with H.E.A.T. protocol.
