This includes in vitro cell culture studies, animal studies and clinical consultation with patients and professionals who complain of adverse reactions to dental biomaterials. This has resulted in more than 200 publications in international scientific journals. Most of my research has been performed at NIOM, Nordic Institute of Dental Materials, which is a resource centre for the Departments of Health of the five Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland,, Sweden) in all aspects of the quality, safety and efficacy of dental biomaterials.
