The tour will last approximately 8-9 hours. In the morning we will leave for the Vatican museums (pre-booking the entrances, so not to stay in queue) to visit one of the most important museums in the world, also including the world-known Sistine chapel (where cardinal met few months ago to elect the new Pope) with the impressive Michelangelo Last Judgment fresco. Leaving the Sistine chapel we will also briefly enter the St. Peter Basilica, the greatest church of Christianity with Michelangelo s Pietà and admire the St. Peter Square in front of it. For lunch we could enjoy a 3 course traditional set menu in the nearby Trastevere district, in a typical tavern with folk décor and setting. After lunch, time to visit the Colosseum and annexed Roman Forum (and Constantine arch), the cradle of ancient Rome and an absolute must in Rome.
