Floyd, Sr. - Floyd Law Group PLC, Nashville, Tennessee Mr. Floyd is a board-certified medical malpractice attorney who has tried to verdict more than 90 medical malpractice trials during his 28 year career. This presentation will focus on the defense of the chiropractic physician from the beginning of the suit through trial. After a brief presentation on some of the basic legal concepts involved in the professional liability claims and the defense of the chiropractic physician, the presentation will focus on one of the most controversial and oftentimes, the most devastating claims of vertebral and carotid artery dissections that are generally attributed to the chiropractic physician s treatment. Mr. Floyd will take the audience through the actual trial (through video) of a chiropractic physician who was alleged to have cause bilateral dissections that resulted in permanent brain injury.
