With large and flexible FOVs, multifaceted imaging programs, and supporting diagnostic software, the units have been designed to answer the most demanding clinical needs. ProMax 3D Max ProMax 3D Mid ProMax 3D Plus Never miss a shot with ProMax 3D units Movement, metal artefacts, and small voxel sizes are generally recognised as challenges to CBCT image quality. With CBCT units and their advanced image enhancement options, you can rise above these concerns and succeed every time. The options can either be selected preventively before imaging or utilised afterwards to achieve reliable results. The choice is yours! Movement artefact correction with CALM Our new iterative CALM movement correction algorithm is excellent for imaging more lively patients. It eliminates the need for retakes by cancelling the effects of patient movement. Metal artefact reduction with ARA The ARA artefact removal algorithm efficiently removes shadows and streaks caused by e.g. metal restorations and root fillings from 3D images. Noise removal with AINO The AINO 3D noise filter removes noise from CBCT images without losing valuable details. It allows lower exposure values and improves image quality when using small voxel sizes. Optimised imaging modes for different needs ProMax 3D units feature a wide range of advanced imaging modes from low dose imaging with minimal patient doses to capturing the best resolutions with the smallest sizes. The units offer voxel sizes from 600 to 75 μm. Pioneering low dose 3D imaging All our CBCT units offer the unique Ultra Low Dose imaging protocol which enables CBCT imaging with an even lower patient dose than standard 2D panoramic imaging. Ultra Low Dose can be used with all voxel sizes and imaging modes. It reduces the effective patient dose by an average of 77% without a statistical reduction in image quality*. The unique and pioneering imaging protocol is based on our intelligent 3D algorithms. There are signs of middle meatal antrostomy. 13x13 cm, 200 μm, 96 kv, 10 ma, 12 s The nasal cavity and maxillary sinus can be diagnosed. The nasal septum slightly deviates to the left and has a left facing ridge at the level of the inferior nasal concha. A slight thickening, that is not odontogenic, can be seen below the left maxillary sinus. On the region dd34-36, left side of the oral cavity, there is some unidentified soft tissue material which origin cannot be diagnosed. 23x17 cm, 400 μm, 96 kv, 10 ma, 12 s There is a bulla on the middle nasal conchae that restricts the right side infundibulum. 16x16 cm, 200 μm, 96 kv, 3 ma, 4 s ULD There is small polyp shape shadowing on the mesial side of the bottom of the right maxillary sinus, and at the top of the left front wall of the maxillary sinus near the nervus infraorbitalis. 5.8x5.8 cm, 150 μm, 96 kv, 12 ma, 15 s A CBCT image of the inner ear with voxel size 0.15 mm was taken to control otosclerosis surgery and stapes prosthesis. The ear canal is clean, ear drum intact, the stapes prosthesis and other ossicle bones are visible and the postoperative situation is good. 6 7
