1 Healthcare Coalition Response Exercise Evaluation Guide Exercise Evaluation Guide Submittal As the evaluator you will need to submit your Observations, Recommendations and Ratings into the ONX System following the completion of the exercise. Following the exercise access then login using your USER NAME and PASSWORD. Once you have logged in click on the exercise you are evaluating listed under the header Your Exercises in the upper left hand corner. You will then be able to access the electronic version of this Exercise Evaluation Guide to submit your observations, recommendations and performance ratings. 2 Healthcare Coalition Response Activity 1: Emergency Operations Coordination 1.1 Public Health, in collaboration with Healthcare Coalition members, establishes and maintains a system for coordinating emergency response activities. 1.2 Healthcare Coalition members understand their roles and responsibilities within the framework of the Public Health response and have the capability to support Public Health throughout the health related emergency. 3 Activity 2: Emergency Public Information and Warning 2.1 Written plans and procedures exist to establish a Joint Information System to provide important information to local residents. 2.2 Public Health, in collaboration with Healthcare Coalition members, establishes a Joint Information System to ensure appropriate and timely information and warnings are disseminated to local residents. 4 Activity 3: Information Sharing 3.1 Public Health identifies shareholders to be incorporated into an information sharing network. 3.2 Public Health, in collaboration with Healthcare Coalition members and others, establishes a network for exchanging information to ensure a Common Operating Picture is maintained throughout the response to the health emergency. 5 Activity 4: Medical Surge 4.1 Public Health, in collaboration with Healthcare Coalition members and others, determines the need to activate and support the local Medical Surge Plan. 4.2 Medical Surge support roles and responsibilities are assigned to appropriate Healthcare Coalition members and other stakeholder agencies and organizations. 6 Activity 5: Responder Safety and Health 5.1 Public Health, in collaboration with Healthcare Coalition members and others identify the safety risks and initiate an appropriate level of personal protection.
