2 The SecondFuwai International Conference of Complex Congenital Heart Diseases Dear colleagues and friends: To celebrate her 60 th anniversary, the First Fuwai International Conference of Complex Congenital Heart Diseases had been held in June, 17th-19th, 2016, which had attracted more than 400 cardiac surgeons from China and many foreign countries and achieve a great success. As a leading medical center for cardiology and cardiac surgery in China, it is our great honor to host The second Fuwai International Conference of Complex Congenital Heart Diseases on Dec 1-3, Congenital heart diseases (CHD) are the leading birth defect in China and western countries. The annual surgical volume for CHD in China is roughly 80,000. However, the management of complex CHD is the great challenge for all the pediatric cardiologists and surgeons. Therefore, we would like to invite you to join us in this educational symposium and share your experiences in the care of children with complex CHD.
