3 Executive Summary To our Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, donors, and partners: This Annual Report summarizes the wide array of activities people participated in through our programs during It acknowledges and celebrates the generous efforts of all of you who made our work possible. We look back on the year and give thanks for all the ways in which you ve helped us press forward to come along the side of God in His ministry in Cuba. We can t thank you enough. Here are some of the stories that are unfolding 90 miles south of the USA. Some provide solutions to pressing problems, while others look ahead to the eternal salvation of the lost. As different as they may seem, these stories share a common thread: transforming individuals and a country for Jesus Christ. This year we celebrate our 20th year of ministry first in Cuba and later expanded throughout the Caribbean Basin countries. In 2015 Outreach Aid to the Americas, Inc. (OAA) will continue to provide resources and expertise. Our main purpose is to foster the dignity and quality of life of vulnerable people in the Americas. OAA seeks to respond to the needs of individuals, families, and communities. OAA s main programmatic focus encompasses three key areas (1) Relief, by providing humanitarian logistics assistance and educational programs (2) Development, by providing free-market assistance and serving the needs of people with disabilities; and (3) Advocacy, by promoting principles of civil society and human rights. OAA has a very successful partnership program with Feed My Starving Children (FMSC). Last year we delivered eight containers of food aid to five countries in the Americas, and two additional ones in Cuba. OAA also participate with USAID in its Food for Peace program to deliver food aid to people in El Salvador. We will continue to partner with local churches, organizations, and NGOs to distributed food in dry-packets to thousands of people in need in Central America and the Caribbean. We feel extremely blessed to have been given the opportunity to have executed these programs. Through our Americas Relief Team (ART) initiative, OAA will continue its mission of providing humanitarian logistics assistance and educational programs, which will benefit disaster victims in the LAC region, and develop sustainable programs which will have a greater impact and longer term benefits for those in need. ART will continue to provide tools and resources needed to increase their preparedness and self-sufficiency. ART will be ready to react to an immediate crisis by providing effective coordination of humanitarian relief. Our Disaster Relief and Resilience programs are becoming very well known in the region. Through ART, OAA provided humanitarian logistics assistance to benefit disaster victims and reduce the suffering of the most vulnerable groups in the Americas utilizing programs such as the USAID s Ocean Freight Reimbursement (OFR), and the Limited Excess Property Program (LEP); most of the beneficiaries of these programs have been malnutrition children of developing countries such as Nicaragua, Guatemala, Cuba, and Haiti. Additionally, our program of Port Resiliency Program (PReP), has successfully partnered with FedEx to provide technical, material, and strategic tools to support ports facing complex challenges both during and after a crisis event. It is our vision that the program will be expanded eventually to all the airports in Latin America and the Caribbean. We hope you enjoy our 2014 Annual Report. 6 Vision & Missions Our Vision Be an organization of excellence in serving the vulnerable people in the Americas. Missions: Outreach Aid to the Americas (OAA) Mission Respond to the needs of the vulnerable people in the Americas through relief, development, and faith-based advocacy. AmericasRelief Team (ART) Mission Provide humanitarian logistics assistance and educational programs, which will benefit disaster victims in our region, and develop resiliency and sustainable programs for a greater impact. 6

7 Past Year s Accomplishments For 20 years we have provided food aid and meals to vulnerable people throughout the Americas region. We ship and distribute food aid provided by our partner s Feed My Starving Children, Matthew 25 Ministries, and Breedlove Foods. Last year we shipped aid as follows: Humanitarian aid delivered 398,000 Lbs. Pre-packaged ready meals delivered in the region 2,295,000 7

It is our vision that the program will be expanded to airports in Latin America and the Caribbean. The overall purpose of our Relief Programs, branded as Americas Relief Team initiative (ART), is to provide humanitarian logistics assistance to benefit disaster victims and reduce the suffering of the most vulnerable groups in the Americas, and to provide tools and resources needed to increase their preparedness and self-sufficiency. In 2014, ART partnered with the U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), in cooperation with the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration, and conducted a major U.S./Latin America/Caribbean Airport Resiliency Workshop in Miami, Florida. The conference hosted 18 senior airport and aviation officials from Brazil, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Jamaica, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru and Panama to participate in the high level workshop. The agenda will address infrastructure improvements, information technology security, interoperable communications, secondary energy plans, emergency response and much more. The forum served as a valuable opportunity for U.S. industry participants to build meaningful working relationships with key Latin America and Caribbean partners. During Key Goals *Facilitate implementation of the Port Resiliency Program (PReP) for all of the international airports in the LAC region *Participate in an OFDA (USAID) Program of the U.S. Government to reach millions of people in the Americas with lifesaving resiliency programs *Create strategic agreements with key non-profit and corporate partners to accomplish the Americas Relief Team mission. the conference, ART directed an interactive Table Top Exercise (TTX) using lessons learned from past PReP projects, the activities tested each country's reaction and response to natural or man-made disasters in the LAC region. 8
