2 Who We Are: We are a not-for-profit organization registered under the Society Registration Act, West Bengal. In April 05, 2013, a group of highly committed professionals from both business and service sectors with diverse experience in the social development world formed Youth Creative Welfare Society - YCWS to promote innovative, sustainable community-owned models and replication of those models for lasting economic, social, environmental and human impact. We work with governments, businesses as well as individuals. The executive team includes mid career professionals who have a personal commitment to the causes of child protection, de-addiction and social equity. This allows for leadership to foster within the organization. A joint management committee comprising of 3 members forms the management body making decisions on operations. Policy decisions are referred to the Board. YCWS strategic plans and role are influenced by internal as well as external stakeholders.
