2 There is a place for everyone to serve in God s house. Being a part of a team is a great way to build friendships and join others with the same desire to see the church grow into a place that reflects God s excellence and creativity. HILLSONG CHURCH IS NOT BUILT ON THE GIFTS AND TALENTS OF A FEW, BUT ON THE SACRIFICE OF MANY One of the character traits that marks us as a community is the incredible volunteer spirit of those who make up Hillsong Church. If you are interested in knowing more about joining a team, read on to learn about all the areas of church that you can get involved in.

3 BUMP TEAM We have two bump teams in church morning and evening. Bump Team exists to facilitate church in venues across central London by unloading and delivering all the equipment required to make each service an awesome experience for people attending. Bump Team helps other teams pack everything away and reload equipment so it is ready for the following week. There are no specfic skills required for this team other than being dedicated, enthusiastic and able to engage in physical work.. Mark. Mark will be in touch to meet up with you in the morning or evening on Sunday to help you get connected into team Mark Walton

4 PRODUCTION TEAM Production Team is responsible for setting up and operating all AV, audio, service producers and stage managers. The team is responsible for everything from calling cues during the service, to setting up everyone on the platform with mics and lighting for each of our services. The team s aim is to make church as engaging as possible, making it easy for people to connect with God. Although we welcome people with limited experience, a background in production is useful, especially knowledge of: operating cameras, programming lighting looks, audio mixing consoles and signal flow, vision mixers, video routing and connectors.. 5 PERFORMING ARTS TEAM Performing Arts is the team that produces our presentations such as Carols at Christmas, Easter and Jesus the Rock Opera ; three productions from within our church which present the gospel through the language of creative arts. Multiple disciplines play a part in creating the world through which the message is told: Performers: singers, actors, dancers, musicians Art Department: film & media, wardrobe, hair & make up, production design Concept development: creative writing, music production Operations: Coordination and Producing The team is made up entirely of volunteers who gather weekly to rehearse, train, and meet in small groups. Each area within the team has its own specific skills requirement. Everyone is welcome to attend the monthly team nights and go through the audition process.. Joel. 6 WORSHIP TEAM The Worship Team is made up of volunteer musicians and singers who are passionate about contributing their musical gifts and talents to lead the church in heartfelt, passionate worship. Worship Team is a skills-based team. We invite everyone who is interested in getting involved to come along to our weekly team nights where you can meet some of our team and experience all we do to prepare for Sunday services, including rehearsals and training programs.. one of the leaders below. Come and meet us at one of our team gatherings 3. Whether you are a musician or a singer there will be a workshop style, introductory process to getting involved on team. 7 USHERS The Ushers extend a Welcome Home to everyone who comes through our doors and creates a sense of community and connection around our services. The team oversees seating, facilitates the offering moments, manages the cloakroom, serves tea and coffee after services and handles many behind the scene tasks that help make Sunday run smoothly. Regardless of how long you have been with Hillsong Church London, becoming an Usher is a wonderful way to start serving, make good friends and take your walk with God to the next level. We are looking for team players who are flexible, approachable and willing to do whatever it takes to help individuals feel comfortable and connected when they attend one of our services.. Jason. 8 COMMUNICATION TEAM The Communication Team enhances many areas of church life by producing original photography, social media content and graphic design that is attractive and relevant to the people of Hillsong Church London. The Communication Team houses many forms of artistic expression and media - each with its own specific skills requirement. Everyone is welcome to attend our gatherings and the team also has many opportunities for those with organisation and coordination skills to serve and lead within this community.. Kat. 9 HILLSONG KIDS Hillsong Kids provides a fun and Jesus-centered church experience for your kids. For toddlers (-yrs) we have Cubby House with fun and interactive programmes. We also have The Ark (3-6yrs) with games, crafts and praise and worship. Our aim is that your children will love church, have fun and learn more about Jesus. Hillsong Kids is a great place to get involved if you love children, enjoy having fun, can be flexible and have a passion for church.. Chris. The service team leader will then contact you 3. 10 VOLTAGE (7- YRS) Voltage is a community that encompasses fun, faith and friendship by encouraging, stretching and inspiring 7 to year olds to be who God has called them to be. Voltage serves the next generation by equipping and empowering each child with the concepts of perfect love and faith to make a difference in the world. There are many ways to grow and develop skills while serving on the Voltage Team, including: pastoral & discipleship, creative, production, worship, film and media, health and safety, database management, events, connections and VLTG PLUS (a sub-team that support kids with additional needs).. Alex. Consider the area you d like to serve in e.g. what team interests you or what are you naturally good at. 3. You will then receive a manual about the team and an invite to attend training sessions ( x.5 hour sessions over two Sundays) 4. We will request and process a DBS background check Alex Blythe

11 FAMILY TEAM Family Team is diverse in its members and Sunday activities. We aim to set an atmosphere that encourages parents with babies to engage with God during the service and connect with other families who are in the same season of life after services. Sunday Family Connections The Sunday Family Connections Team is always looking for people who are friendly and proactive about helping people find their place in church. They should also have an eye for detail, show initiative when something practical needs to be done, and enjoy being around babies in the Family Room. Dedication Team The Dedication Team helps to facilitate the Hillsong London s baby dedications. Those who wish to serve in this area should have good hospitality, administration and hosting skills. 12 FUEL (-4 YRS) Fuel Team serves every Sunday as it hosts an awesome service for those in Year 7 to Year 9. After the service, the team hangs out with the Fuel kids for lunch, connect groups, football in the park, and other random fun. Once a month Fuel Team comes together for our Young & Free nights. Fuel is a fun community that offers opportunities to lead and empower a generation of young people to understand their God-given purpose. Joining Fuel Team is a great way to get connected, with many opportunities to serve, including: Sunday Connections, organising social events, worship, creative, production, connect groups and communications. 13 WILDLIFE (4-8 YRS) Wildlife Team serves the 4 to 8 year old age group of Hillsong Church London. Wildlife Team is a fun community that offers opportunities to lead and empower a generation of young people to sing, dance and praise while living out their God-given potential. Joining Wildlife Team is a great way to get connected, with many opportunities to serve, including: Sunday Connections, organising social events, worship, creative, production, connect groups and communications.. Mclaren. Come along and check out a youth connect group 3. Start a 6-week training journey, including DBS background check, to be inducted into youth leadership Mclaren Lewis

14 POWERHOUSE (8-30 YRS) Powerhouse Team is all about helping the 8 to 30 year old community build authentic relationships, while equipping them in their walk with God. Powerhouse hosts The Gathering, which are nights of worship and the Word, bi-weekly connect groups and monthly social events across different areas of London. Joining Powerhouse Team is a great way to get connected, with many opportunities to serve, including: Sunday Connections, organising social events, worship, creative, production, connect groups and communications.. 15 INFLUENCE (30-45 YRS) Influence creates social opportunities for people within the 30 to 45 community of Hillsong Church London to meet and build authentic relationships. The Influence Team hosts socials, Refresh nights, connect groups and Sunday seating to foster friendships, encourage and empower this community to live lives of godly Influence. There are many opportunities to serve within Influence including: Sunday Connections, organising social events, worship, creative, production, connect groups and communications.. Jason. 16 SISTERHOOD Placing Value On Humanity Sisterhood is a force for good and across all the generations it s every girl in church from our young ones in Petite Sisterhood, all the way through to students, mums, working women, through to old age. Friendship and cause go hand in hand as we place value, serve, pray and BeTheChange in our world. Sisterhood Connect Group The aim of Sisterhood connect groups is to provide a relational environment to encourage women to do life together and make a difference in others lives too. Dinners, brunches, business women breakfasts, mums and bubs groups, bible studies - there is something for everyone. Be The Change Sisterhood s Be The Change Team practically serves the needs of the community, whether it is by helping our neighbours, or through community partnerships with organisations that serve the elderly, domestic violence survivors, and the homeless. Shine Sisterhood s Shine Team facilitates a six-week mentorship programme that focuses on helping women in challenging life circumstances know their worth, strength and purpose. 17 HILLSONG MEN The Hillsong Men Team exists to encourage the men of Hillsong Church London in their relationship with Christ as they impact their workplaces, sports clubs, families and the broader community for Jesus. Hillsong Men meet regularly and gather collectively once a year at Hillsong Men Conference. Joining the Hillsong Men team is a great way to get connected through many opportunities to serve, including: Sunday Connections, organising social events, worship, creative, production, connect groups and communications.. 18 WELCOME HOSTS The Welcome Hosts are a friendly and knowledgeable team focused on helping every person in the life of the Church to get connected, by personally equipping them with the information they need to know in order to take their next step in Church life. The Welcome Hosts are a friendly and welcoming hub of information, articulating key areas of church life in a way which is easily accessible and understood by a new person. The Welcome Hosts Team are always looking for people that like to know what s going on! They are information specialists, friendly and personable, and love helping others to effectively become a part of church life. They are naturally strong at accumulating knowledge, especially about the church and its activities and they know how to share it with others. They love people, and desire to equip those around them in order to facilitate their walk with God.. Daniel. 19 INTERNATIONAL CONNECTION TEAM The International Connection Team is responsible for connecting with and caring for, every person in our church with English as a second language. The team serves practically by offering conversational English classes and providing simultaneous interpretation in each of our services. The Interpretations Team is a wonderful place to serve if you are passionate about helping others, have great interpersonal skills and can speak fluently or interpret one of the following seven languages: Portuguese, Spanish, Hungarian, French, Italian, Bulgarian, Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).. 20 OPERATIONS TEAM The Operations Team works with all the other teams and departments across church to ensure that Sundays run smoothly. There are two main streams in what the team does: weekly administration and long-term projects and planning. The team works closely with venues and their management teams across London to make sure that church can happen, wherever that might be. The team is responsible for dealing with many of the unseen yet critical elements of church life. The Operations Team requires excellent people skills, great attention to detail, experience in research, analytics, administration or project management.. Yurie or Tim. 21 ROW CONNECTORS The Row Connectors team is a pastorally-focused and caring team which exists to interact with the church community on a Sunday and to help every person in the life of Church to take their next step in Church life in both practical and spiritual issues. Working mainly throughout the auditorium, and specialising in one-on-one conversations, the Row Connectors team provide a welcoming voice and a listening ear to those that may be new to church life or struggling with various issues relating to London life. The Row Connectors team is always looking for people that love spending time with people. They are the natural friends in the community, people that care for each member of the congregation looking out for individual needs and helping where possible. They are inclusive, compassionate and understanding. Row Connectors are focused on oneon-one conversations before and after the service and seeing where people are at.. Sam. 22 SUNDAY CO-ORDINATION The Service Co-ordination Team helps facilitate everything related to the flow of services, ensuring they run smoothly. There are two main roles to volunteer as: service producers/administrators and stage managers. The team is responsible for everything from calling cues during the service, to setting up everyone on the platform with mics. If you can think and plan two steps ahead, work well under pressure within a team and across teams, are organised and enjoy helping others be organised, then the Service Co-ordination Team is a great place for you to make a difference.. 23 CONNECTIONS TEAM The Connections Team is a dynamic, charismatic and people-orientated team which exists to help every person in the life of Church to get connected - to Jesus, each other and their Church. In amongst the bustling foyers, they serve through their energy and welcoming demeanor, linking people with each other to help everybody find their fit in church life. The Connections Team is always looking for inclusive, intuitive and social people to add to its community. They love to know people and a good level of knowledge about church life is required, as well as previous experience attending a Hillsong UK Group. They will be able to connect people to others and will have an outgoing and bold personality, able to relate to people of all ages and backgrounds.. Max. 24 IT TEAM The IT Team facilitates the life of the church by managing technical equipment that powers key processes throughout the week. The team s goal is to ensure that people s experiences with computers are seamless, secure and efficient. The IT Team is also passionate about cultivating personal relationships within the team and sharing practical knowledge with those interested in the world of technology. The IT Team invites anyone who possesses great attention to detail, a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn, to join its dynamic community of volunteers. :. Tomas. 25 CITY City is a community of working professionals who believe that ministry is not solely reserved for those employed full-time by the church, but instead understand that each person has a mandate to impact those around them and outwork God s mission for their life. The City Team facilitates gatherings where other professionals are inspired to love those around them and boldly live out their faith.. Max. 26 REGISTRATION TEAM The Registration Team role is to facilitate the attendance of delegates to Hillsong s main events and conferences. We play a key part in ensuring the smooth entry of all attendees into conference venues and are often the first point of contact at Hillsong Church and Hillsong events. At each event, you feel a real sense of accomplishment when you look around the arena and know that seats are filled because you did an AMAZING job! The Registration Team requires excellent people skills, customer service skills, experience in conflict resolution and communications skills.. Sam. 27 RESOURCE TEAM Hillsong London seeks to equip people with everything they need to be able to strengthen their walk with Jesus. The Resource Team supply a wide range of books, music and teaching that helps those in our church community to learn and grow in whatever season of life they find themsleves in. The team ensures all resource is set up and neatly presented, and answer any questions that may arise about the resource on sale. The Resource Team seeks volunteers who are personable, flexible and possess great attention to detail.. Hester. Or come meet us at the resource area after any Sunday service Hester Spies
