5 We are the coordinating organization of the project We will be there to support you during your EVS and you could share with us all your thoughts, fears, problems (if any occurs, but we hope there won t be serious ones!), and joy! We will help you to learn Lithuanian language, too! ESTA SALTES is non-profit organization which gathers former EVS volunteers. We organize international and local volunteering projects, youth exchanges, training courses and more

6 Hosting organizations: SOS Children Village: Family Strengthening Center Lentvaris Open Youth Center Antakalnis Open Youth Center Toys Museum A. and M. Miškiniai Library in Utena

7 2 volunteers in SOS Children Village (Living place: Vilnius) Organizing free time and education activities in the day center for children: outdoor/sport activities, hand crafts, cultural activities, etc.; Visiting children families, helping them to rise parenting competences; Organizing different events for children and families: Christmas and Eastern celebrations, inter-cultural events, etc.; Possibility to organize your own projects within an organization.

8 1 volunteer in Lentvaris Open Youth Center (Living place: Vilnius) Become a contact person for young people at youth center; Help the youth center staff with administration; Organize leisure activities for young people: workshops, music, thematic evenings, sports and outdoors activities; Organizing other activities and events: we have 5 traditional events every year, e.g. Street culture day, Love day, etc.the volunteer would be a member of an organizing team and a big support; Volunteer will have a possibility to implement his/her own ideas as well to present the country where he/she comes from (language lessons, presentation of youth popular music, cooking, workshops, games, sharing hobbies etc.) /

9 1 volunteer in Antakalnis Open Youth Center (Living place: Vilnius) Assist and lead (if one wants) information events (about volunteering, youth politics, democracy processes etc.), discussions, creative workshops, different projects about tolerance, democracy, selfimprovement, as well as: Dancing, cooking lessons; Some of these activities will take part periodically, others will happen just once.

10 1 volunteer in Toys Museum (Living place: Vilnius) Educational activities with children, pupils from schools, families; Communication with visitors from different countries; Helping with new toys exhibitions; Helping in organizing different events in Toy Museum.

11 2 volunteers in A. and M. Miškiniai Library in Utena (living place: Utena, while all the other living places will be in Vilnius city) Volunteers become an integral part of the library s team; Help in organizing exhibitions, events; Doing photographs, participate in project presentations; Lead various activities for children, language clubs for adults; Introduce the idea of volunteering and one s country and culture for youth.
