WRITING INFORMAL STYLE A LETTER OR DESCRIBING AN EVENT Descriptions of festivals, events (e.g. concerts, sport competitions ) and celebrations (e.g. a wedding) can be found in articles for magazines, newspapers and travel brochures (in this case they are written in formal style) or as part of letters and s (in this case they are written in informal style).
