Operated by EWI, the facility is engaging in projects involving advanced robotics, additive manufacturing, and state-of-the-art nondestructive testing and evaluation equipment. Cost: Members/Guests $25.00 Students $10.00 Menu: Choice of Fish Fry, Oktoberfest Dinner, Schnitzel, Steak/Arugala Salad, Rouladen. Potato pancake appetizer included as well as soda and coffee. 2 Chapter Update Welcome back to our ASM Buffalo members for another great season of events. I would also like to welcome our new board members, Chuck Lafountain, Hank Kammerer, and Peter Witting. ASM Buffalo kicked off the year with an exciting tour of North American Hoganas. We would like to thank them for graciously hosting ASM Buffalo and also thank our members in attendance. NAH, Niagara Falls manufactures iron powder for various industries and showcased the green initiative that their plant was founded on and continues to succeed in. NAH uses byproducts from other manufacturing industries to produce a high quality product with little waste. It was a riveting tour of furnace reactors and discussions of how iron gets certified as non-gmo for food use. Our next event on the schedule is a tour of Buffalo Manufacturing Works.
