More interest groups have been started and members are getting to know each other better. The summer continues to be glorious and this has made the outdoor events very successful. I have spent almost a month in the UK this summer but feel that I exported some of the Canadian sun to a country that normally does not enjoy such heat! Lorraine Veroba Special Interest Groups News. As a result of the surveys we put out, 8 new special interest groups have been proposed. They include birding, movies, scrapbooking, lunch meet, breakfast meet mixed, breakfast meet women, photography, billiards, and computers. Anyone who has signed up for any of these groups, please stay tuned for more details. The golf interest group is currently on hiatus. In the meantime, Jack Cadan of Oshawa Probus has graciously agreed to let any members of Clarington Probus to join his golf group. They golf once a week, Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays on a rotational basis. It is a mixed group.they play "walkable 9 hole courses". Jack has added me to his list and I will forward the information to those who originally signed up for the golf. If you wish to be taken off or added to the list please let me know. John Muzik
