1 OUR MISSION To respond to human needs with programs and services that protect children, promote healthy families and communities, help seniors, and empower individuals to take control of their lives. EAC Network is a diverse 501(c)(3) social service agency that empowers, assists, and cares for people in need across Long Island and New York City. Our objective is to reach individuals within our community through innovative programs that improve quality of life. A Brief History: In 1969, four concerned women formed the Education and Assistance Corporation to help students with special needs in Port Washington, NY. Over the years, our organization s services slowly expanded to meet a growing need to help families, seniors, and individuals all across Long Island and New York City. In 2013 EAC rebranded to EAC Network in order to reflect the broad spectrum of programs and services we now provide.

2 Our Network Services Children Youth Our Children Youth programs work deeply with children who are victims of child abuse and neglect or who are involved in the foster care system. We provide supervised visitation between noncustodial parents and their children, promote child passenger safety and positive teen driving skills, and offer mentors for at-risk youth. We also offer programs for Anger Management, Community Service, and educational intervention for domestic violence offenders. 3 Family Community Our Family and Community programs help our neighbors pay bills, resolve family and business conflicts, and navigate through obstacles that hinder self-sufficiency. Alternatives for Youth Drive Safe Education, Rehabilitation Support Enforcement Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP) Weatherization Referral Packaging LI Dispute Resolution Centers LI Parenting Institute Nutrition Education Food Services Project Support Sanctions Intervention Scope Teen Driving Equation Seniors the Incapacitated EAC Network is the largest provider of Meals on Wheels in Nassau County. We act as guardians for seniors who are not able to manage aspects of daily life on their own. Our senior centers provide warm meals, exercise, and social interaction to local seniors. We also offer technology classes as well as trained companions to relieve caregivers. Although EAC Network has 16 program centers that span across Long Island and New York City, all members, no matter how big or small their role in the organization, operate with one common goal in mind to fulfill our mission. FINANCIAL GROWTH EAC Network has grown substantially (about 18%) over the last three years. Total revenue was $17, 863,042 in 2013, $18,804,771 in 2014, and $21,109,512 in The 2015 financial audit showed a continuing trend of increased revenue over the next five years due to recurring and expected Federal, State, and private grants, as well as increased public support.
