1 2017 Community Impact Report
2 Family. Community. Firm. (In that order.)
3 Gratitude... As we enter into a new year, I can t help but reflect on the abundance of good fortune that has blessed the Firm in This is a direct result of your loyalty and support. We are eternally grateful for both your business and friendship. Good fortune is best celebrated when shared, and for that reason SSF seized the opportunity to sharpen our focus on giving back to our communities this year. Community is a fundamental priority of the Firm, and this year we made it our mission to further inspire volunteerism, support passions and ultimately make a greater difference in the communities in which we live. In celebration of our 40th year in business, we called upon our employees to donate 40 hours of their year to volunteering for a cause they hold dear for many this was a call for far less than they were already contributing, and for some it was their first concentrated effort to serve. From fostering kittens, walking alongside survivors of breast cancer and leukemia, to mentoring youth and serving our soldiers, the passions and causes were as unique as our individuals. The Firm also made a pledge to donate $40 a day to non-profit organizations fighting to make a difference in the lives of others. Each week the Firm selected an organization supported by our staff, and for one full week that organization received $40 a day for their cause. In addition to the everyday causes our employees support, the organizations included those providing humanitarian aid for victims of the devastating fires in Northern and Southern California, as well as the hurricanes in Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. Giving is more than a donation, it s about making a difference. In the spirit of gratitude and giving, we will continue giving back to our community throughout the year, and we hope that you do as well. Together, we can make an impact on the communities in which we live, which will in turn make a difference in the world. On behalf of all of us at SSF, I wish you a great 2018 and hope you enjoy our first annual Community Impact Report. Sincerely, John Sensiba Managing Partner

9 The Feedback A very BIG THANK YOU for all of the help SSF gave on Friday, June 9th! You guys were amazing and completed a tremendous amount of work that day. We were able to complete so many important projects that day and Sunflower Hill is so very thankful for all that you did. Lynn Monica, Director of Sunflower Hill Impressive commitment to the community. Thank you from a non-profit board member perspective and from a community member at large. If every organization did even a fraction of what your firm did we would have even nicer communities to live in. The impact you make is substantial for both your team members and the organizations you supported. Thank you! Tom Crotty, Managing Director, Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank We are so tremendously grateful to you for all Sensiba San Filippo LLP did to support the Bay Area Kidney Walk Campaign. I continue to be inspired by Sensiba San Filippo LLP s passion and commitment to NKF s mission it was a delight to work with you and your team this year! Angela Smith, Sr. Development Manager, National Kidney Foundation Just one of the great things about your firm is its culture of giving back. Well done! Steve Moya, Partner, B2B CFO Thank you for all that you do and all that you inspire! Patty Powers, Beets Hospitality Group Sensiba San Filippo s commitment to helping our neighbors in need is commendable and their efforts will help the forgotten, suffering and deprived in our midst. St. Vincent de Paul is grateful to Sensiba San Filippo s support of our mission and their continued support to building stronger, more vibrant communities. Alicia Rangel, Store Operations Administrator, Society of St. Vincent de Paul
