Requesting a check for $ Friday August 31, 2018 we will have a table at the PRO-ACT National Overdose Awareness Day event. The event is from 6-8pm at the Milton Center 501 E. Minor Street West Chester PA. We are requesting IP pamphlets for this event and to put out in the community. We are in need of volunteers. 13 Regional H&I Subcommittee Meeting August Open meeting with moment of silence followed the serenity Prayer, reading minutes from last month meeting. Reading the twelve tradition, twelve concepts. Reading the basic purpose from H&I Handbook. Admin Report. Received a call from Ms. Clorine Henderson of Gardenzia, Mt. Airy requesting that a H&I meeting be brought back into the facility located at 1300 E. Tulpehocken Street. H&I did come to the facility in the past. Per PR, we are waiting for documentation stating that the rodent problem has been taken care of before we bring meeting back into the facility. They are refusing to give us documentation, so until we receive documentation we will not be bringing meeting back to the facility. Receive call from Jefferson Hospital NE 4900 Frankford Av. They don t qualify for an H&I meeting. Old Business NONE Areas in Attend Pyramid of freedom Clean Acres West/South/West Philadelphia Inner City New Business. We are having an issue with the following Areas not showing up for the Subcommittee meeting: Camden, Delco, Schuylkill Valley, Downtown and South Philly (sometimes). To RCMS for these Areas: looking for accountability. On Sunday at DRC commitment the speaker made the residents feel very uncomfortable with the content of his message. Areas Reports Inner City learning day October :00 8:00pm, Location 2544 Germantown Av. No misses with ours commitment, last month it was report that member came to commitment H&I high, the member came to meeting an report that he was not high. Clean Acres. VA 39 one miss VA PTSD panel leader was stepping down, boiling green back. Hundred and fifty dollar literature, all commitment fill with one missed. What to do when member is on maintenance problem. Pyramid of Freedom, group in attend Lion Den, Brand New Conscious, we receive fifty four dollar of literature from the area. We revise our policy and add introduction to NA. All commitment fill.
14 West/South/West. H&I learning day has been scheduled for August and flyer have been distributed to subcommittee. All commitment filled. Subcommittee must decide whether to accept mental health commitment at the VA Hospital. North/West New Image would like to have meeting brought back to their facility, they will documents that they need document that they took care of the problem. All commitment filled. Philadelphia Ten vote member at the subcommittee meeting, women prison all well, Men prison all is well. DC prison all is well. One misses all other commitment filled..
