Secretary s Report Kathleen I appreciate the reports that I received this week. Please be sure to check-mark that you are present on the sign-in sheet and write in any changes to your contact information. Group Reps, you can find your group name on the first two pages. Everyone else look for your name on page three or add yourself if you are new or a visitor. Does anyone have any changes to the August minutes? No. Approval of August Minutes: Motion by Curt. Second by Pam. Motion approved unanimously. Treasurer s Report Susan (Additions to the submitted report from discussion at district meeting are in italics.) District 3 - Treasurer's Report September 8, Group contributions through August 31 st are available. Please share with your group treasurer to confirm your contributions. Forms are available with addresses for District 3 North FL Area, and WSO contributions. Please put your group name/number on your contribution so it will get credited to your group. Each group decides how much to contribute, and how often. I will take group contributions (cash or check) at district meetings. Any questions, treasurer@ jaxafg.org. The mailing address for District 3 North FL Area, and WSO are in our Where/When, as well as your group number. 2. For August expenses, include Fall AWSC for DR and AISL, donations to WSO and North FL Area as outlined in our 2018 budget, Arlington Methodist Church for rent and babysitting, printing costs for SHARINGS newsletter, and Where/When meeting list, gas for Alateen Chair to attend Alateen Conference, and Fat Cow website expenses as Tina reported last month. 3. If you have district expenses as outlined in our 2018 Budget, bring your receipts to our district meeting, as I will have the checkbook with me. There are reimbursement forms available on the member section of our website at I also have reimbursement forms with me. 4. Each district meeting, I pass around a yellow box for contributions. This helps pay for district expenses, including the church rent and babysitting at each district meeting. GR's may ask your group for a suggested donation of $3.

2 5. Bank balance as of August 31, 2018, is $7, $2,500 is ample reserve. Alateen funds after Alateen Conference total $ ($300 has been used for 3 teens to attend the Alateen Conference in July) Convention Hospitality contributions (before today's contributions) are $ Groups donated to our 2018 North FL Convention hospitality. Janie will buy the items the convention planning committee requested. She will be given a check for that amount. Anything leftover will be given to them as cash to use as they need. Judy brought a donation for hospitality from Monday Morning Penman. Thank you to the groups! Bank statements and monthly reports are available at each district meeting, if anyone would like to view them. The 2018 Budget is available on our member website and at each district meeting. Risa asked about the donation from Hope and Understanding. Any donations that were deposited close to the end of the month will be shown in next month s report. Thank you for trusting me with this service, and thanks to Freddie for checking the spreadsheets and our bank balance. Grateful I'm not alone and can ask for help! Susan H. District 3 Treasurer Approval of Treasurer s Report Motion by Risa. Second by Linda. Motion approved unanimously. LDC Curt Curt will be making some changes at the LDC because sales have not been what he would like. He has sent out an electronic version of the order form. If you want something, he will be happy to bring it to these district meetings. He will be adding a Friday afternoon upon which he will receive orders, either as a text or an , go to the LDC, and then deliver it to you. You must get this order to him at least a day beforehand. Curt has a new phone and a new telephone number. Curt s is ldc@jaxafg.org. Text is best. It is on the Contact List on the website. Curt has ordered more of the One Day at a Time 50 th Anniversary Edition ($15) and the Intimacy in Alcoholic Relationships ($11). He has plenty of the new Grandparents and Parents pamphlet. He does have more of the Newcomer Packets now. Mark F. asked if the insurance question from a previous meeting has been resolved. Curt is still working on that. Freddie states that we might ask if AA has insurance on the building (the LDC is in a walk-in closet upstairs-k.) so we could ask for a rider on their insurance. In the past we have been added and they did not charge us. Curt will look into it. Roxanne added that they did not have insurance last year when the storm hit but that they might this year. See Curt at the break or after the meeting he brought literature for us to purchase. Curt needs volunteers for the 1 st and 2 nd Wednesdays of each month: 2:30PM to 3:30PM. Drawing for August Winner is Penman Road. Alateen Joanie Good Morning, Everyone! (Read by Kathleen) I will be taking 4 of our Alateens to Lake City today. Rick is holding an Introduction to Alateen meeting and has asked for our teens to share what Alateen has done for them. Love that they are willing to share. I have 6 teens going to Convention - 4 of whom we are accommodating through extra funds collected for Conference. They are still in contact with the teens they met at Conference one of which will be the 2

3 3 Teen Speaker. In fact, the Speaker asked one of our teens to please come and support her at the Convention. Thanks to your generous donations we are able to assist and make this happen. Susan has sent me a check for the funds needed. It is more than enough. I will keep notes on all that is spent and return all funds not used so we can continue to assist our teens. The teens are still making the bookmarks for Gage's workshop which they will be handing out after the workshop. I'm amazed at the talent these teens have. On the back they have written, Made by Orange Park Alateen Group, Convention Thanks again for all your love and support for our growing Alateen Group in Orange Park. They deeply appreciate you all. Outreach to Public/Media Vacant Outreach to Professionals Laura 2018 PO Project 180 agencies and behavioral health professionals on our list I am supplying the info and Risa is making the address labels Risa is printing labels We have ordered and received 1, AFAs. 60 extra were included in the shipment. Mailing banner pen with directions, short letter, prescription pad, and 2-3 copies of Al-anon Faces Alcoholism (The exact contents will be determined at the committee meeting after this meeting.) Each AFA has a sticker on the back with our District contact info We have padded envelopes for mailing We are using funds from the state AA conference proceeds for the mailout We will have our mailout party after the District meeting and will be eating pizza and salad! I have tried to keep up with Twitter and have been inconsistent with that so far. Dr. Laura Lane Outreach to Institutions Tammy (Freddie reporting.) We had someone who had been facilitating the North Mandarin Beginner s Meeting Thursday at 7:30 PM at Breakthroughs. That person moved on and now we have Jodi who is willing to be facilitator. That meeting needs support. It is Jodie and usually around 8 newcomers. The address has recently been corrected in the newest Where & When. It is a good group. The therapist that was there is really nice. They have a nice room to meet in. Please support them. (More Al-Anon Faces Alcoholism booklets {AFA s} and Where & Whens were made available to this meeting.)

4 4 Telephone Answering Service (TAS) Risa Report from TAS Chairperson September 2018 District 3 Jacksonville, FL Panel 58 All is running smoothly. All of the slots are filled but some people are covering two and three time slots. If you know anyone who wants to volunteer, contact Risa. The Telephone Answering Service received approximately 25 calls in August. Four inquiries to al-anon@jaxafg.org was answered in August as well. To all Group Representatives: Please inform the TAS Chairperson of any changes to your meeting schedule based on holidays, special events, elections, etc., so she can inform the TAS volunteers who provide current meeting information to those who call to find a meeting. TAS Chairperson September 5, 2018 Webmaster Tina D. o Tina has noticed on the website that there are six groups who either monthly or at a 5 th day of the month have a speaker meeting. If you produce a flyer, will you please send it to her? She does have a space for it on the front page of the website that advertises speaker meetings. Tina works on the Telephone Answering Service and notes that people do ask for it. It helps if the flyers are out there. o Risa commented that she has received feedback from a caller about the Alateen meeting that the website does not direct local visitors to the meeting, just to the World Service Website. Tina will put it under the Alateen link on our website. Risa will suggest to Katie that the Alateen meeting information be put on a special section. o Ruth stated that the Friday afternoon Easy Does It group in Mandarin is moving to the Mandarin United Methodist Church next Friday (On San Jose where they always sell the pumpkins & Christmas trees). Gage will reach out to the GR of that group to have her get something we can put out on the website, send to TAS, and give to Katie (for the Where & When). Speaker Keeper Michelle Not present, no report. Group Records/Where & When Katie My official report is that there was a new Where & When sent out last week. This was due to a correction to the address for the North Mandarin Newcomers Night AFG. Any new group reps, please complete a GR-1 form as soon as possible. Please records@jaxafg.org and I will provide you with the form to update. Thank you. Newsletter Editor Rosemary not present, no report. Archives Shelley Still being digitized. The Alateen stuff still needs to be archived. Shelley will be getting with Joanie to see how she wants it to be displayed. The headings are still being organized. Shelley will work on it more after Convention. At a health fair at Shelley s apartment complex, she gave out AFAs with Where & Whens. As it was raining, the apartment manager put them in with the welcome home packets for new residents. She needs more for this purpose. (More were also made available at Breakthroughs.) Shelley reemphasized how great her experience was at C.O.R.E. and how informative it was. She would very much like to be a part of it in the future.

5 Raffle Rita Gage was in a meeting and heard Rita share that she s moving. Gage did speak with one GR who may have someone who s interested. She will let us know at the October meeting hopefully. She needs to get an official resignation from Rita first. Is there anyone else who may be interested? AA Liaison Kristen AA Convention Spanish Liaison Vacant Vacant positions Alternate District Representative Outreach to Public/Media Freddie already has this in a large committee so you would have lots of help! Spanish Liaison Speaking Spanish is not required. The Area Coordinator is bilingual and very friendly and helpful. Break December Fun Day Curt & Ray Joanie and the Alateens have volunteered to manage the food, set up, and cleanup. They will have a flyer by the next District meeting. They will need the PA. District Representative - Gage 2018 Convention - Next weekend. I have a room reserved for Friday and Saturday nights that is up for grabs if anyone needs one. I will cancel the reservation today if no one wants it. Shelley has a single room that she does not need. o Are there any other raffle baskets that I need to take? o The banners will be going with me unless someone else wants to get them and take them. o Are there any questions about Convention? o Laura still has the tabletop banner from C.O.R.E. Should she bring it? No. AWSC Update Freddie and Gage went to AWSC. To Gage, it seems as if there was a lot of discussion of money. The budget will be voted on. There is a new definition for Growth Enhancement Members (GEMs) going to Assembly and AWSC. They used to be called Growth Investment Persons (GIPs). When a district is bringing a GEM to Assembly or AWSC, the chairperson may put them to work. It was done traditionally but not in an official procedure. Our district has budgeted for two GEMs at each area meeting. If you are interested or have someone in your group interested in going as a GEM, please let me know. We may also pick some people to go who have expressed interest but haven t come forward and volunteered. It might be more interesting if they think they have a job to do instead of just sitting with nothing to do and no vote. Gage brought copies of the Legacy Light Panel 58, a newsletter from AWSC. Gage will it to us in the future. Assembly o Freddie asked who is transporting the Legacy banners to Assembly. She requests that whomever is transporting them also take the literature and table cover. Janie volunteers to take it. Everything is at the LDC. Gage can bring it. o On-line registration is open. Please go to the area website and register for assembly by Sept 28 th. At the last assembly we didn t have enough seats for everyone together 5

6 because Diane determined how many seats each district got based on the number of online registrations, not on the number of people that we ed her were attending. I m saying this not to criticize Diane, but to encourage you to pre-register for Assembly. If you don t care about all sitting together then it s not an issue. It is in the SHARINGS. o Hotel reservation cut off is Sept 14 th. Again, there is a link on the area website. Shelley asked about the cost breakdown for GRs going to Assembly. Susan can get it to her. o The Area Budget will be voted on. Please go to the Area website afgarea9.org and look at the budget. It is important that you understand what you are voting on. For the most part it is the same as last time. Archives is a little more because there is a different storage place that is more expensive. My personal opinion is that HP provides what we need each year. I personally am comfortable voting on a budget that doesn t balance. The budget is a guideline. It s a starting point. If a project costs more money than anticipated, we will spend that money as long as there is something in the bank. My experience is that there has always been something in the bank (and the budget never balances). We have a $25,000 reserve fund that we can tap into. That money is there for us to use if we need it. It s not untouchable. Tina mentioned that many donations come in close to the end of the year. Curt mentioned that there are also places in which the money budgeted isn t spent. o Red Light/Green Light Take these to your groups and discuss them. Ask for opinions that you can share at Assembly after the presentation. Be prepared to take notes on them to take back to your groups to share what was discussed. The questions are posted on the Area website. Question 1 - What happens when the meetings have elected new officers and those officers are now not showing up at the meeting? Question 2 - How does a group uphold Tradition 7 when the meeting place is rent-free? Question 3 - What s the policy about members using group contact information to reach out to members for non-al-anon reasons? Ex: soliciting, selling products, etc. o The next Assembly will also be the ONLY assembly in It will be June 7-9. (Important point for groups who might not be able to afford two Assemblies per year.) Who is planning to go to the October Assembly? Count: 32. o Freddie has been asked to do a Public Outreach display. She will need the banners. Ray has a room and is looking for a roommate. o Katie is also looking for a roommate. The Public Outreach Coordinator for the Area has stepped down. Take this back to your groups to see if anyone is interested. It is a very important position. There is a job description on the Area website. Freddie has had this position before. It was very rewarding. They have increased the budget for next year to $5,000. Two years are left in the term. She will be happy to talk to anyone about the position. Shelley asks if you are allowed to hold a District position AND an Area position. You can t have a district position and a coordinator position that vote at the same meetings. A GR does not vote at AWSC and a Coordinator does not vote at Assembly. A GR can hold a Coordinator position. It would become a time issue. It is very time consuming. Tina said that they put everyone s name in a hat and pull out a name. If there are two or more, the first is coordinator, the second is alternate. This is when it is outside of the regular 6

7 elections and when it is for Coordinator not Officer positions. You do still have to fill out the resume form. For Coordinators, that is read after the selection. Mark read from the Area website: an Eligible Coordinator candidates are defined as those who are not members of the incoming AWSC, and have been a member of FL North for a minimum of 3 years. The member standing must have completed a 3-year term as GR, actively attending District and Area Assemblies during that term. Gage brought copies of the Legacy Light Panel 58, a one-page summary of what happens at AWSC. The Delegate and Alternate Delegate are putting this together. Take them back to distribute to your groups. One of the stipulations is that it must fit on one page. Gage will it to us in the future. If you have an distribution list for your group, you can forward it to them. Dry Goods Storage Janie brought a packet with photos and descriptions of various storage bins that may be purchased for the storage closet. It also contained a diagram of the dimensions of the closet. She did an evaluation of each bin as to which shelves it would fit on and what it will hold (i.e. how many rolls of paper towels, how much overhang lengthwise or endwise, etc.) Janie stated her recommendations as to which and how many of these containers would work, in various configurations as well as the prices. Every recommendation includes at least one wheeled container. Janie stated her preference for recommendation #4. Roxanne stated our thanks to Janie. It has been needed for a long time. Curt mentioned that currently it is hard to tell what is in the bags. The containers will be much better. Janie made a motion to use recommendation #4. Second by Mark F. Motion passed unanimously. Group Status - How are the groups doing? Does anyone need support? Has anyone tried something new at their meetings? How d it go? Lisa Hope for Today They plan to change it up a little bit and have more Step meetings. The group seems to be doing well. Linda - SOS Fernandina. They changed their quarterly business meeting to a quarterly group conscience and changed the day from Saturdays after the meeting to Mondays before the meeting because they had so many more people at the Monday meeting. People actually asked that it be changed from half an hour to an hour. She needs help. She used to have a co- GR. She doesn t think she can do all that is required to cover six meetings. At their meeting they asked for one of their members (who is on the board of the Alachua Club where they meet) if they could have a board meeting to discuss how much the Al-Anon group is donating to the Club. They haven t had a board meeting in a very long time. They give 70% of what goes in the basket to the AA Club, leaving them very short of money. Julia - Alternate GR for Ortega Ok on Friday nights at St. Mark s Episcopal Church library. They are down to 3-5 people. They have historically had a lot of newcomers coming in. They don t really know why this is happening. Katie - Tuesday Morning (Kathleen reporting) at Pablo Creek Library. We are still growing. We are still having to bring in extra chairs. Pam - Spiritual Awakenings Sunday Morning at Baptist Beaches Hospital. It is still a good-sized group about people. Currently there has been a request to have a conversation about 7

8 how they handle newcomers. They currently do not read a newcomer welcome. They will have a meeting to figure out what they will do. Risa Serenity Seekers Wednesday on St. John s Bluff. Still struggling with attendance. They have the same 5-6 people at each meeting. Please come to support them. They are a Step, Traditions, & Concepts meeting using Reaching for Personal Freedom. They have a good turnout at their speaker potluck meetings but otherwise attendance has dwindled. Hopefully, it is just a summer slump. Ruth - San Marco. The Wednesday meeting is big. Meetings Friday and Monday fluctuate. They voted to change their business meeting from after the meeting every 3 rd Wednesday of every 3 rd month to 10 minutes as part of the meeting every 3 rd Wednesday. That is working much better with everyone participating. This last third Wednesday they had a group inventory and had everyone fill out the forms. They will invite an outsider to read the forms and report on them. A few times, they have had someone come in (who is not a regular member) and vote on something in a business meeting. Hopefully between business meetings and the group inventory, they can work on that. Roxanne - Circle of Hope. Roxanne found that in their book there was a plastic sheet with the names of the founding members. They are in their 43 rd year! Roxanne discovered that a neighbor of was one of the founding members! To celebrate, they will be having a speaker meeting/potluck on October 11 th. She will make a flyer and we will post it on the website. ) Judy Monday Morning on Penman Road. A strong meeting. Attendance anywhere from 20 to 30. They have many newcomers. Her only negative observation is that their library could be in better shape than it is. There is also some crosstalk. Some of their members also comment on non-conference Approved Literature (C.A.L.). Janie - New Beginnings Adult Child in OP (Saturday mornings). They are steadily running people now. They are a strong group, an hour and a half. They do a small business meeting every week. For them it is working well. Freddie gave them the group inventory information and they would like to do one soon. Joanie is asking for anyone at this meeting to volunteer to tally for them. Mark F. - Discovering Choices on Thursdays in San Marco. The meeting is continuing to grow, at about each time. No one has yet expressed interest in the babysitting services. We are reading through the Discovering Choices book. They haven t found anyone interested in being an AMIAS for the Alateen group they wanted to start at the same time. Mark asked how many in the room closed their meeting with the Lord s Prayer. It was a question asked in his meeting. Curt mentioned that the group he is in had a group conscience and decided to use the Serenity Prayer but occasionally someone who is not a regular member closes with the Lord s Prayer. Mark also asked if anyone has announced the AA Roundup that is happening at the same weekend in October as Assembly. We have an Al-Anon speaker at that event. Toni mentioned that the Service Manual states, When Al-Anon participates in an A.A. event with speakers or workshops, these events may be announced at meetings, in our newsletters and on our websites. (Al-Anon/Alateen Service Manual , p. 92.) Shelley Beaches Saturday Morning Adult Child. They had a business meeting and discussed the housekeeping and how the house has been kept up. They have now been using the schedule for cleaning. It was also ok for Shelley to revamp the room and updating the information that is going on their bulletin boards, etc. They have had between 25 and 30 new members the last month and a half or so. They are sure to give newcomers a welcome packet with the Where & When. She also makes sure that they get with someone after the meeting so 8

9 that they come back. They are a positive group. The AA group has been doing some maintenance on the house, too. Jodie Thanks everyone for making her feel welcome and Freddie for giving her a bunch of literature! The group has only been meeting for 3 weeks. It averages about 8 people. Ray - Just in time Tuesday in OP at St. Giles Presbyterian. Their group averages They have been experiencing some issues with cross talk. They will be discussing them at their business meeting, having a group conscience. They have elections coming up. All in all things are doing pretty well but they have some ground to cover to get back to basics. Camala Monday Night Language of the Heart at Penman Two or three years ago, attendance was people but now it is only It might just be the summer. Camala thinks this group inventory might be a good idea. They have a structured format with the first week of the month being a speaker meeting, the second and third being Step and Tradition meetings, and discussion the last two Mondays. They have a hard time getting people to sign up to lead the meeting. Curt One Thursday at a Time in OP. Attendance is 6-10 with about half being regulars and the other half being visitors from other groups. They have a hard time having a group conscience meeting. It is the same problem having someone sign up to share. Some people are closing the meeting the way they do in their home group, not the way the group has decided. They have a newcomer s welcome an ask them to stay after the meeting to be welcomed. Joanie North Mandarin Newcomers night. Going well. Freddie provided copies of Al-Anon s Guidelines for doing a Group Inventory. There are two group inventory handouts. She also put the questions into a Word document so there is more room to write answers. (Thanks, Freddie!) Anonymity Meeting - Carolyn H. Tina (presenting Carolyn s report): AA and Al-Anon are getting together and having a speaker meeting talking about anonymity based on public outreach. There seem to be some people who don t want to do public outreach because of concerns about revealing anonymity. The event is October 27 th 6PM 10PM, setup 4PM. At the Mandarin Methodist Church on San Jose Blvd. There will be two AA speakers. Al-Anon is also speaking. Instead of doing a speaker, we felt that we were going to hold AA s attention more if we do a skit. On Al-Anon s part, we re going to do a skit about anonymity. We are asking people to wear a mask. At some point during the program we will take our masks off. There will be a meal, a dance, and some raffles. Carolyn is asking if the District would be willing to help her to provide a table of literature. Basically we are asking for money to buy the two pamphlets. District 3 Business Meeting Sept 8, 2018 Co-operating with A.A. Anonymous but not Invisible Banquet Report Guidelines: (Note: These also include a note on finances) Cooperation between Al-Anon and A.A. (G-3) Al-Anon Participation in an A.A. 10 1. The purpose is to encourage members in both programs to grow in service and to learn more about anonymity in the public where you must show your face. This is a great opportunity to learn how to reach those still suffering in our community. 2. Our Al-Anon committee chose to do a skit as part of the Banquet program. It was felt that people will listen better and learn more between 2 speakers on anonymity. The new manual says we must have a speaker or workshop to be considered participation. Our old manual only says we must share the program. I don't believe the manual is the Al-Anon police on the exact wording, but the purpose is to be part of the program and part of the planning. I believe this event in District 3 is Cooperation at its best. 3. It is still a question if we want to place literature on Anonymity and "Attracting and Cooperating," along with their literature. As this does concern money, it will be District 3 group conscience if we provide Al-Anon literature on an Al-Anon table. 4. A.A. was ready to give me $100 for decorations/including the tables and it was I who said we must keep our finances separate. Our committee is excited about the decorations and the table centerpieces. The manual and guidelines are definite about keeping our finances separate. There is no admission fee for the dinner. The room will be paid by the 50/50 raffle. A.A. Intergroup donated $400 to the event under Public Outreach. Yes, they are feeding us this time!! 5. It is District 3's decision to place information on the event in the newsletter, website, and announced at meetings. If it is printed or not, we have committed to participating. 6. Our goals for outcome? To encourage someone to volunteer for our Al-Anon Public Outreach Chairman and get our name and beautiful banners and tablecloth at Health Fairs and into the public eye. (Remember, we received the funds for the banners from the A.A. Convention.) Most of all, we hope for spiritual growth in Step 12 and learn how best to carry the message to others. If anyone has more concerns, please openly share them. Only in this way can we make informed decisions. You always have the option to participate or not. Love and hugs, Carolyn Discussion: Ruth read the agenda from the flyer presented at the last District 3 meeting. Shelley made the point that, technically, it is still a speaker we are just speaking in an animated way. Freddie stated that you can still attend the event- this discussion is about whether or not we will pass out the flyers, put it on the website, and announce it at all of our meetings. Freddie has been looking for a way to cooperate more with AA for Public Outreach: this is a good baby step. Ruth quoted from p. 92 of the Service Manual about Al-Anon and AA cooperating almost from the beginning. Tina stated that it is a good outreach for family members. She also stated that she has been to many workshops that were skits so we need to think about it if we are going to redefine the definition of workshops. Julia added Carolyn said there were a lot of fun things to do to get ready for this party. They could use anyone s help in preparations. You could talk to Tina or anyone else involved. Risa had concerns about the perception that our purpose is to attract only people interested in doing public outreach. Gage informed us that there is already a flyer created to be distributed to the groups if the decision is that Al-Anon as a whole is still participating in the event. The purpose of this discussion is to allow the Group Reps make an informed decision as to whether or not this event is being announced at our meetings. Gage asked if there is anyone who feels that we should not be participating in this event. 10

11 Janie asked verification that anonymity is the topic. She states that we look at anonymity differently from AA. Janie then asked what we are gaining from their speaker and what they are gaining from us. Gage replied that by Al-Anon participating, we are gaining cooperation and an opportunity to get the word out about both of our programs. Tina asks if there is anyone in the room who has a concern about doing public outreach to protect personal anonymity. There were positive answers. This event can answer questions about anonymity and our level of comfort with it. Susan clarified that the question is not are we participating but are we announcing it? Gage asked, Is there anyone in the room who says we should not be announcing it at our meetings and on our website? We have a vote of one. The majority voted yes. Gage asked if anyone in the room does not want to announce it. One hand raised. Gage passed out the flyers. Tina will post it on the website. Tina will ask if they want to request the use of the banners, particularly the girl in a bottle one. Ruth made a motion to spend the $45 to purchase the pamphlets. Second by Shelley. Motion passed at 15 hands raised (two absent). New Business The District Budget Meeting is 2PM Sunday, November 4 th, same time as the Steering Committee Meeting. If you have a position in which you re are spending District 3 money, you are welcome to come or you can Susan your thoughts at treasurer@jaxafg.org. Curt needs help at the LDC. Gage is willing to go to the LDC one hour a week to just be there if people want literature. She needs to be done by 2:30. The best time is when there is no AA meeting in the building in order to have parking. There is an AA meeting that ends at 1PM on Tuesday and Thursday so it would be cleared out after 1:15PM. If the groups would use it, she will do it. Ask the groups.
