Mirage is also the pioneer in introducing Polished Granilla which was designed to life using state-of-the-art technology including our 48-head polishing machine at our 5,00,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art plant at Daund in Pune. Our plant also boasts of its own Laboratories & Testing facilities, a dedicated Quality Control team and an initial production capacity of 6000 sq. meter/day, which will soon reach 16,000 square meters/day. LAYING PROCEDURE LAYING PROCEDURE FOR MIRAGE MOSAICO TILES 1. Please take out tiles from the boxes simultaneously and dry lay on floor. 2. Examine the dry laid tiles for uniformity of shade & size since some amount of shade/ size variations are inherent in all fired Ceramic Products. 3. Alter position wherever required until a uniform acceptable blend is achieved. 4. Number the tiles in the order layed with a piece of chalk. 5. Fix the tiles using conventional Cement-Sand mixture as mentioned in Important Tile Fixing Instructions. 6. The company bears no responsibility towards the tiles exposed to any outside processes like transfers, printing, re-firing, etc. IMPORTANT TILE FIXING INSTRUCTIONS 1. All the tiles must be checked prior to fixing for Quality, Design, etc. 2. Plaster the surface of the wall to be tiled with a good float finish and allow curing atleast two weeks before tilling. DO NOT FIX TILES ON FRESH WALL SURFACE. 3. Before fixing the tiles, lay them out in the desired pattern and make sure that they give an acceptable blend of color. Also make sure that the tiles are acceptable to your satisfaction. Please note that some amount of shade and size variation is inherent in all fired Ceramic Tiles. THE COMPANY WILL BEAR NO LIABILITY AFTER THE TILES ARE FIXED. 4. For fixing Mirage Mosaic tiles using conventional Cement-Sand mixture, follow the given below instructions :- a. Use Cement and Sand in the ratio of 1:3 and add some water to create a consistent mortar paste. DO NOT USE NEAT CEMENT FOR FIXING TILES. b. Apply the bedding material evenly and tap it firmly back in to position to ensure proper contact between the tile and wall. c. Make sure that Cement should not come over tile surface through gap of mosaics. d. Clean tile surface by means of dry cloth if cement comes out over the surface of tiles. 6. Allow 24 hours of bed curing after laying of tiles & after this period fill the joints with suitable grout. 7. Fifteen minutes after the grouting process, wipe off the excess grout with a damp sponge and clean with a soft, dry cloth. 8. For cleaning the tiles, use water or dilute soap solution followed by water with soft moist cloth or sponge. DO NOT SCRUB OR SCRATCH. 9. Please note that the Company does not accept any liability in case of problems arising out of non-adherence to these above tiles fixing instructions. NOTE: MIRAGE CERAMICS responsibilities are only limited upto the replacement of defective materials if any, prior to fixing of tiles. No claims of any nature will be entertained once the tiles are fixed.
