6 ACTIVATED CARBON Medical activated carbon prepared from coconut shell charcoal Medical activated carbon prepared from coconut shell charcoal Active Carbon capsules are based on medical activated carbon, obtained by carbonation of coconut shell so that each capsule contains 250 mg of this substance. It s recommended to use Active Carbon capsules for digestive, flatulent or gastric problems and aerophagia (unconscious air swallowing during meals). Active charcoal contributes to the reduction of excessive bloating after meals. A beneficial effect is achieved if 1 gram of activated carbon is taken at least 30 minutes before and 1 gram shortly after meal.
