2 We have all heard experts say a varied diet provides all the nutrients we need. However, this is not entirely true. Modern diets have appreciably limited our intake of phosphorus, iron, B complex vitamins and vitamins A and D by eliminating or reducing consumption of offal, animal fats and egg yolk, due, in part, to slimming diets and cholesterol control. In addition, and this has escaped the notice of the medical profession, due to farmers using chemical fertilisers, food now contains less magnesium. Our supplements can help redress this imbalance by providing the correct amount of these nutrients and a simple solution to serious health problems that are sometimes very painful. Thank you for your time.
3 COLLAGEN WITH MAGNESIUM TABLETS Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and is a key constituent of cartilage, tendons and bones and is therefore required on a daily basis. All the connective tissue in our body and joints is made of collagen; its intake helps to counteract wear and ageing and to keep our joints, bones and skin healthy and us fit. We have added magnesium, an element that is actively involved in the formation of all the proteins in the body. It also contributes to normal muscle function. Skin needs collagen for maintenance to delay the appearance of wrinkles. Healthy hair needs collagen. Strong healthy nails need collagen. Osteoarthritis, osteoporosis, tendinitis, torn ligaments, skin damage, broken blood vessels (bruising), hair loss and brittle nails. 6 to 9 tablets a day split between breakfast and dinner. The tablets should be taken with foods rich in vitamin C. 7 TRYPTOPHAN WITH MAGNESIUM + VITAMIN B6 TABLETS Tryptophan with magnesium + vitamin B6 is a food supplement based on magnesium, L-tryptophan and vitamin B6. L-tryptophan is an amino acid found in the chains that make up proteins and like any other amino acid, is actively involved in the formation of proteins. It is obtained from foods such as milk, eggs, fish and nuts. Under normal conditions, the contribution from these foods would be enough, but what happens when we are tired, listless, apathetic or lacking in concentration? That is when we need an extra dose of tryptophan. L-tryptophan is an amino acid which we use to form serotonin, the neurotransmitter that makes us calm and relaxed, and which is responsible for regulating our moods, anger, stress, anxiety, appetite, libido and body temperature, among many other processes. L-tryptophan is also involved in the formation of melatonin, which is the hormone that enables us to have restful sleep. Like vitamin B6, magnesium helps reduce tiredness and fatigue, and contributes to the nervous system s normal function, to normal psychological function and to normal metabolism of energy. Vitamin B6 also helps regulate hormonal activity and contributes to the normal metabolism of proteins and glycogen, and to the formation of red blood cells. Drum of 60 tablets Tryptophan with magnesium + vitamin B6 should be taken when you feel overwhelmed by the tasks of everyday life; when suffering from stress, when you are tired, listless and/or apathetic. It can also be taken at exam time to help with lack of concentration and in slimming diets, because tryptophan with magnesium + vitamin B6 considerably reduces anxiety and therefore the urge to snack. Take two tablets a day, with lunch and dinner. Average content per daily dose of 2 tablets (1.7 g): L-tryptophan: 600 mg Magnesium: 160 mg (43% NRV*) Vitamin B6: 1.4 mg (100% NRV*)
