ConCordix, the next level delivery form that is disrupting the world of food supplements. The advantages of ConCordix Soft Chews and Soft Melts in comparison with tablets, sachets and capsules are overwhelming. That is what makes these Soft Chews and Soft Melts the best option of all food supplement delivery forms. 4

Great taste! Our Soft Chews and Soft Melts come in various fruity flavours. The ConCordix gelatine base is designed to taste well and lower the change of reflux down to nothing. This even masks the stronger tastes of ingredients such as fish oils and zinc. You can choose from one of our sweet and fresh flavours. 5

All you need is to chew All you need to do is to take the delicious Soft Chews and Soft Melts, instead of swallowing huge tablets, large capsules or make shakes or drinks from bulk powders or sachets. Besides, our Soft Chews and Soft Melts are able to contain high payloads and can carry high volumes of active ingredients, even up to 620 mg actives per Soft Chews or Soft Melt. 6

Easy to take Our Soft Chews and Soft Melts are very easy to take. Whether you are at home, work, school or commuting. You don t need water to swallow them. So just press one out of the blister and take it. It is as simple as taking a chewing gum. 7

Oil and water-solubles combined ConCordix offers a new approach to delivering nutraceutical supplements to the human body. It has the ability to deliver both oil-soluble ingredients ánd water-soluble botanical extracts, vitamins en minerals. This changes the market fundamentally and creates possibilities for new concepts and profit. 8

High compliance Soft Chews and Soft Melts are designed to maximise the comfort of taking food supplements. Making a healthy life just that little bit easier. This lowers the chance of customers stopping their daily intake, like often seen with bitter tasting tablets or water dissolvables. A study with children in a 16-week course of supplementing shows an impressive compliance rate of 95%. 9

Fresh and seperately packed Fresh Soft Chews and Soft Melts, every singly day again. Tablets and capsules lose their freshness from the day you open the bottle. This gives way to oxidation which makes the oil rancid, creates a bad odour or makes them stick together. Our Soft Chews and Soft Melts are separately packed, which keeps oxygen out and all freshness and flavours in. The shelf-life increases and your customers enjoy a daily fresh Soft Chew or Soft Melts. 10

All natural ingredients All raw materials, used in the production of ConCordix, come with a Certificate Of Analysis (CoA) issued by the supplier. We continuously conduct stability studies, covering the product s entire shelf-life. This ensures our products stay within customer and regulatory specifications. 11

3D Triple Action 12

3D Triple Action 3D Triple Action By combining essential oils, botanical extracts and micronutrients, we created a unique product concept that contributes directly and sustainably to resolve complaints and maintain good health. Our soft melts enable this through a triple diffusion (3D) of actives: 1. Flash release of essential oils 2. Physiological release of botanical extracts 3. Nutritional release of micronutrients 13

Essential oils Essential oils are the pure, highly concentrated natural constituents that are found in plants. They are what give the plant its characteristic odour and contain healing powers of the plant from which it was extracted. When used correctly, essential oils bring a wide range of health benefits without side-effects. 14

Botanical extracts Invented thousands of years ago, botanical extracts are still a favourite health solution today. When you ingest a botanical extract, it is quickly and easily digested and utilized by the body. The body goes to work right away with the action of the botanicals. They bring about changes in the body much quicker than other methods of taking botanicals. 15

Micronutrients Micronutrients are various nutrients that we require in small quantities. Vitamins and minerals are the two main categories of these nutrients. Vitamins are essential organic nutrients, most of which are not made in the body, or only in insufficient amounts and are mainly obtained through food. Minerals are inorganic nutrients that, just like vitamins, play a key role in ensuring our health and well-being. 16

Choose Your Ingredients 17

Thyme Oil Thyme is a perennial subshrub that grows to 12 inches high. It has small gray or green leaves. It produces white, pink, or light purple flowers from late spring through summer. Thyme has been studied for its antimicrobial properties. Research also shows that thyme oil may be beneficiary against a variety of bacteria in relation to cough and supporting respiratory tract health. 18

Peppermint Oil Peppermint is one of the most popular herbs used in today s society. The leaves and stems of peppermint contain volatile oils that give the plant its pungent odor and taste. Today, the peppermint plant is commonly added to cough and cold remedies because of its high menthol content, which provides an antimicrobial effect and a sensation of coolness and easier breathing. 19

Eucalyptus Oil Also known as blue gum tree, Eucalyptus globulus is a tall, evergreen tree that attains heights of up to 295 feet. The name comes from the Greek eucalyptos, meaning well-covered, since the flower buds are enclosed with a cup-like membrane. Traditionally, the oil is used for respiratory discomforts and in all types of fever for its cooling effect on the body. 20

Propolis Propolis is a resinous, waxy substance produced by honeybees. It contains high levels of active bioflavonoids with well-known antioxidant properties. Processed by bees in the hive, it is a truly extraordinary substance having a remarkable range of health benefits for maintaining a strong immune system to create the best recharge after winter chills. 21

Echinacea One of the most popular herbs in the world is the herbal plant echinacea. The term refers to several plants in the genus derived from the aboveground parts and roots of Echinacea purpurea, angustifolia and pallida. It is used for preventing and treating the common cold and respiratory discomforts. It is also used for the immune function and against oxidative stress. 22

Elderberry Elderberry is a small tree native throughout Europe, western and central Asia, and North Africa, naturalized in the United States. Elderberry contains mainly flavonoids composed of flavonol glycosides and free aglycones. Elderberry is used for common cold, the treatment of feverish common colds, coughing or breathing discomforts. 23

Ginger Ginger is a large tuberous perennial plant native to southern Asia, now cultivated extensively in almost all tropical and subtropical countries. it contains more than 115 chemical components in a variety of ginger types. The most important phenolic elements of the ginger root are gingerols. Ginger has been used for the treatment of indigestion, fever, and digestive discomfort. 24

Vitamin A Vitamin A is a fat-soluble vitamin that is naturally present in many foods. It is found in foods including green, orange, and yellow vegetables, such as broccoli, carrots, and squash. Vitamin A is important for normal vision, the immune system, and reproduction. Vitamin A also helps the heart, lungs, kidneys, and other organs to work properly. 25

Vitamin B6 Vitamin B6 is a vitamin that is naturally present in many plant foods. it is found in foods, including potatoes, starchy vegetables and fruit (other than citrus). The body needs vitamin B6 for more than 100 enzymatic reactions involved in metabolism. Vitamin B6 is also involved in brain development during pregnancy as well as the immune function. 26

Vitamin C Vitamin C is a water-soluble nutrient found in some plant foods. You can get enough vitamin C by eating foods including citrus fruits (such as oranges and grapefruit) and their juices. In the body, it acts as an antioxidant, helping to protect cells from the stress caused by free radicals. The body also needs vitamin C because it helps the immune system work properly and to protect. 27

Vitamin D The body makes vitamin D when skin is directly exposed to sun light, and most people meet at least some of their vitamin D needs this way. Very few foods naturally have vitamin D. Fatty fish such as salmon, tuna, and mackerel are among the best sources. Vitamin D is important to the body because it supports cell renewal, and the immune system needs vitamin D to fight off invaders. 28

Vitamin E Vitamin E is a fat-soluble nutrient found in vegetable oils (such as wheat germ, sunflower, and safflower oils), nuts (such as almonds), seeds (such as sunflower seeds), and green vegetables (such as spinach and broccoli). It acts as an antioxidant, helping to protect cells from the damage caused by free radicals. It also helps the immune system to protect the body. 29

Zinc Zinc is a nutrient that people need to stay healthy. Zinc is found in cells throughout the body but also in food like red meat, poultry, oysters and other seafood. Also beans, nuts, whole grains, and dairy products contain relevant amounts of zinc. It helps the immune system fight off invading bacteria and helps to make proteins and DNA, the genetic material in all cells. 30

Selenium Selenium is also a nutrient that the body needs every day. Some foods have selenium, including seafood, meat, poultry, eggs, and dairy and grain products. The amount of selenium in plant foods depends on the amount of selenium in the soil. Selenium is important for, thyroid gland function, DNA production, and for protecting cells from damage caused by free radicals. 31

Cough & Cold 32

Introducing our new Cough & Cold product line. Cough & Cold is a well known health problem, not limited to any borders or climate. In order to help consumers to get rid of it in a convenient way, we created Cough & Cold PTR, delicious soft melts that contribute to the comfort of the respiratory tract and throat ánd strengthens the immune system. Available for Juniors, Adults and Seniors. 33

Helping the immune systeem The immune system is our body s defense that attacks substances that invade body systems and may cause discomforts. By combining essential oils, botanicals extracts and micronutrients we created a unique concept for strengthening the immune system through diffusion of active ingredients. The flash release of essential oils delivers a direct breathing comfort and activation of the body s defense. The diffusion of botanical extracts physiologically stimulates the immune system. The release of vitamins and minerals nutritionally and enables the maintenance of a healthy immunity. 34
