2 Course/Module description: Decision making is a key part in formulating and evaluating public policy. The purpose of the course is introducing normative and descriptive approaches to decision-making, with emphasis on the implications of the field to behavior in the public sphere. Course/Module aims: Introducing the normative and descriptive approaches for analyzing and understanding decision-making. Learning outcomes - On successful completion of this module, students should be able to: 1. Exploring the normative approaches to decision-making. 2. Exploring the descriptive approaches to decision-making. 3. Understanding the implications of the field to behavior in the public sphere. Attendance requirements(%): 80% Teaching arrangement and method of instruction: The course combines critical and comparative studies of key models in the field, from different disciplines such as cognitive and social psychology, behavioral economics, political science, and organizational theory.
