15 First PHS call in FP7 - Main Aspects 3 main Target Outcome areas: (a) IPs for Personalised Monitoring: Solutions based on wearable or portable/mobile ICT systems, which facilitate remote monitoring and care at preferred environments. Emphasis on non-invasive or minimally-invasive, multi-parametric monitoring, combined with expert feedback and care in closed-loop systems. Focus on two main directions: Chronic disease management Preventive monitoring (b) IPs for Point-of-Care diagnostics: Systems for multi-analyte screening at primary care. Based on portable or handheld devices, carrying out multiple tests at e.g. genome and proteome levels. The aim is to: identify predisposition to diseases enable early diagnosis of a disease aid treatment (e.g. dosage advice or drug suitability) (c) Coordination and Support Actions on: Topic 1: RTD roadmap on Personal Health Systems Topic 2: Reliability of wireless transmission of health-related information Topic 3: Interoperability of Personal Health Systems with other ehealth systems
